Project Runway 10x03 Thoughts

iariaWelcome Back (or Not) to the Runway
+ Elena/Buffi: Laura - Okay. The top looks nice but with the skirt part of the dress it makes it look... old and blah. Also supposedly it's a black sheer over pink but I'm not seeing the pink really.
+ Christopher/Andrea: Anya - Hmm. Christopher was not wrong about the slit being too high. I liked the fabric, the studded belt, the open back but the top of the back (where it connects) not so much and the slit is bad. Also the top seems a bit off somehow? I'm not sure.
+ Ven/Fabio: Kenley - I love it. I think it looks gorgeous and adorable. The colour is great, the sculptural pleating at the top is wonderful and I love how it continues down the skirt on an angle. The only negative is that I'm not sure it's quite fancy enough? I don't care because it's great.
+ Dmitry/Melissa: April - I do not like the front at all. I honestly feel 'ugh' when I look at it. The neckline and length of sleeves, the fall of the dress - I hate it all. I don't think it's at all flattering. The colour however is lovely and the back is pretty.
+ Raul/Alicia: Mila - It's really boring. The more I look at it the less I like it. I don't like how the top is cut at all; it looks weird. The skirt is meh. The red belt is ugly. The whole look is just bad. They should have stuck with their original vision.
+ Gunnar/Kooan: Irina - I like it. Kooan hates it but I think it's pretty. Very simple but unlike Mila it's flatteringly cut. I love how the bottom looks and moves. The long fabric scarves down the back are lovely. The silver necklace is perfect and adds a very necessary something to the look.
+ Nathan/Sonjia: Valerie - It's fine. It's not to my taste but it fits her well and has a nice shape and I agree that it is Emmy appropriate. I'm just left meh about it.
+ Kenly's dress was my favourite. I actually don't have two more to make a top 3. Most of the dresses I found only okay. So Irina's dress would be my second choice. I'd pick Ven as the winner because I could see his work in Kenly's dress and it was a very big part of what made it beautiful.
- My bottom two would be Dmitry/Melissa and Raul/Alicia's dresses. I don't know who I'd pick to go.
+ I've liked Christopher up until this point but he bugged me a lot this episode and then him attempting to throw Andrea under the bus and his behaviour on the runway was so terrible.
