Nikita 2x17 Thoughts

+ "Cassandra remember when you were talking about Max being the thing that gets you through life, no matter how hard it gets or how tough it gets... I know what you were saying. Cause I have someone like that too. There's no way I'm going to leave her." - Michael. I loved this. I never thought he would leave her but this feels like it goes beyond 'i love you'. And it's wonderful. Now he just needs to say this to Nikita.
+ "You are so strong. This is what your papa taught you." - Katya
"No. Someone else." - Alex ♥
+ I was really glad that Cassandra didn't turn out to be a bad guy.
+ It was really nice to see Nikita kicking people's asses. I loved the alley fight. She hasn't had a really good fight scene since I started watching the show again. And once again she works the situation, and the people, to her best advantage. I love how she got both sides thinking they'd killed Cassandra.
+ I wish we'd gotten a moment between Alex and Michael when they learned Semak was dead. I loved Michael's "empty" response after Sean asked an unresponsive Alex how she felt about it. Michael is definitely the one who can best understand what she's going through and I really hope they get a conversation about it at some point. The Michael/Alex relationship is the one that has suffered the most this season in that they had a great one building in season one and this season there's been almost nothing between them. I really wish the show would give them some focus again.
+ I wonder if Alex would find some satisfaction in knowing that Semak was killed by someone he trusted just like he killed her father?
+ I loved Max's expression when Nikita took out the two MI6 agents. His little smile when she walked back to him was adorable. At this point he's got to think she's his own personal superhero. I was also amused by Nikita telling him to forget he saw it.
