Nikita 2x18 Thoughts

+ Amanda/Nikita were amazing! I wish this is the sort of thing we'd seen more of because while we've occasionally been given hints at a deeper relationship between them I never complete bought it because I never saw it. Until now.
+ I loved the comparison between the two of them at the end. They both said the same thing - "I let her live." - but so very differently. Nikita with a little smile, a little awed and pleased with herself. Amanda very much not happy with herself. But to be fair Amanda did lose. She let sentiment, as she'd say, influence her choice and it ended up blowing up in her face. I can't see this experience encouraging her to let her emotions have free reign again.
+ I loved the moments of vulnerability we got to see in Amanda, almost all to do with Nikita: when she didn't kill Nikita, when she told Nikita she'd broken her heart, and when she saved Nikita again from death. It does feel a little out of nowhere, all this care, but thinking about it I suppose most of the times Amanda has dealt with Nikita have been from a distance. She's ordered her death but to be right there and watch it... that's another thing entirely. I can buy that.
+ Interesting that Amanda didn't hesitate after Nikita fell unconscious. There was no being torn or being indecisive - as soon as the gun feel Amanda was ordering them to open the door.
+ It was interesting to see Amanda fight. I don't think we ever have before.
+ I really enjoyed watching the entire Team Nikita come together to plan their Zetrov mission.
+ Alex was really great in the boardroom and her turning the tables on Ari was pretty impressive.
+ How convenient for Percy that Birkoff would have that recording, that he would show it to Division, that the timing of everything would coincide so perfectly. A little too convenient for my tastes.
+ I can't believe they killed off Marcus and Dina both in their second episode. This is not how you use reoccurring characters!
I am really glad that Sonya survived because I was worried for her and I would have been mad if she'd been killed off too. Despite the Amanda video I'd love it if Sonya remained loyal to Amanda and became her inside mole.
+ It seems that Ari/Amanda might be real love after all. I like that. I kept expecting them to turn on each other after everything fell apart.
