True Blood 5x12 Review

Team Eric, Sookie, Tara, Nora, Jason, Pam, Jessica is the best ever. I want them all to create a, non-crazy, Nest together. Lafayette can come too. I would watch that show forever.
Eric felt Sookie's fear and immediately went to her. I love that.
I really enjoyed the Eric/Nora relationship in this episode. Nora is a much more interesting character when she's not being a religious fanatic. They were fun and bantery and kind of delightful. I even found their bickering over the security system adorable.
"Oh by the way she's family too so be nice to her." - Eric. Aw, I love Eric calling Tara family.
I have no real interest in watching Jason relive his season 2 storyline but his insult-off with Eric was amusing.
"Yeah, she is pretty amazing. And mine." - Eric I loved Eric being possessive and claiming Sookie.
I feel like maybe I missed something - since when do Sookie/fairies smell immediately like the best things ever to vampires? If that were a thing you'd think more vampires would know about fairies. It certainly wasn't around in the first season. Is Sookie changing? Plot contrivance? Regardless Nora's reactions to Sookie amuse me and I loved Sookie's calm "Eric please ask your sister to stop looking at me like that."
"Watch out. It's slippery." - Tara. So this is such a little thing but considering that Tara has refused to speak to Sookie all season, is still pissed at her, this hints to me of a possible reconciliation around the corner. Tara didn't have to say anything but she specifically took the time to give Sookie that small warning. Protecting Sookie still (even from small things). It made me happy. I really miss their friendship.
I liked how happy Jessica was to see Sookie. I wish they'd interacted more this season.
I loved the Tara/Pam kiss. I loved that Tara opened the door herself. Also the reactions to it were great - Sookie's "Oh. Okay" and Jessica's gleeful "I knew it!"
I loved the little moment between Pam/Eric at the elevator.
"For all you know, everything I did while with you was an act calculated to elicit a particular response." - Bill It's been a while since I watched this show but, uh, isn't that exactly what he did? He went to Bon Temps at Sophie-Anne's order and spied on her, and didn't he purposefully allow the Rattray's beat her so that she would have to drink his blood?
"Bill you are stronger than this. You are capable of sympathy and kindness and generosity. You are unique among all the vampires I have met." - Sookie. Arg, this bothered me so much. It is such a load of crap. I mean there's even a vampire in the same room that's shown those traits around her. How about Godric? What about fucking Jessica? Of all the vampires Sookie's met I'd say Jessica would fit those attributes best.
So is Bill dead? Possessed by Lilith?
