TBBT & Adèle Blanc-Sec Thoughts

iariaI watched The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec and loved it. It was silly and ridiculous but very fun. Adèle is awesome. I adored her calmness under pressure. Her love and grief for her sister was very moving and I love that her entire motivation throughout the movie was saving Agathe. The entire opening sequence in Egypt was great. I also loved Patmosis. Really the only issue I had was with the fact that Adèle went ‘on holiday’ without her sister. After five years of grief and guilt and trying to save her it seems weird to me that immediately after getting her back Adèle would leave. I’m sure that Agathe could have used a holiday as well! I really want a sequel now. With Adèle having an adventure with Agathe and Patmosis.
The Big Bang Theory 6x09: Really enjoyable episode. The guys' fight was fun and I like how it was resolved. I loved how the fight between the guys spread to the girls. The first fight between Bernadette and Amy was great and Penny's reaction to Bernadette's 'your theoretical sex life' jab at Amy made me laugh. I really liked Leonard. His amusement over the fight didn't feel mean and I like that he was laughing at both Sheldon and Howard (not taking sides). Also there were a lot of fun little moments throughout - like Leonard giving the guys cookies as a reward.
