Mary Stayed Out All Night Thoughts

This series managed to get completely nonsensical and irritating in it's final episodes. There were enjoyable moments and I actually loved the final twenty minutes or so of the finale but overall this is a series I'm glad to be finished.

First, those finale twenty (or so) minutes of Episode 16 were awesome. I loved them. They were fun, amusing and all around enjoyable. Much like the series was in the beginning. I found myself wishing so much that the latter half of the series had been about ( spoilers )

If we'd gotten that I would have been sad to see the series end. I'm glad that the series ended on a high note but it irritates me when I think about what could have been. I'm a little bitter about that. Oh, such wasted potential.
