I watched the entire series and really enjoyed it. I love main character Toma and really liked the Toma/Segumi partnership. The build up of the mystery was excellent and the final episodes had several awesome twists. The truth about Ninomae and the identity of the true bad guy I didn’t see coming at all, and the final big confrontation was awesome. I am so glad that this show is getting an SP and a movie because with the way it ended it would be so wrong for it not to.

Toma is awesome. She’s my favourite. She is so smart it’s scary. She is brilliant and perceptive, unwavering in her pursuit of solving a crime and very competent. She is also really amusing to watch because along with all that she is also so weird and sometimes ridiculous and just doesn’t care at all. Throughout the series I kept thinking about how I really wanted Toma Saya and Osawa Eriko to meet. They could solve crimes together and it would be epic! Then when I was looking up a name I had a ‘duh!’ moment when I finally realised that Toma was played by Toda Erika – who played Mami on BOSS!

Some thoughts on an individual episode basis. Spoilers for the entire series. If you haven’t watched the series yet I suggest you do so before reading further because some of the twists really should be discovered for yourself. It’s only ten episodes and worth watching. )
