Almost Human Thoughts
Feb. 4th, 2014 03:12 pmI marathoned through Almost Human. It's - okay. Overall not great but I think it's getting better. I'm still watching. I really wish that the network hadn't messed around with the episode order though because I think that hurt the show. Episode 8, for instance, was meant to be the second episode and it really showed.
I'm mostly watching for Dorian, who is my favourite character, and the Dorian/Kennex relationship which is great. Thus far none of the four supporting characters have really been given much to do and I don't really care about any of them. The Maldonado/Kennex relationship is the most interesting.
1x05 annoyed me the most. The whole Maldonado subplot pissed me off. I hated it so much I don't even want to complain about it.
My favourite episodes are 1x06 and 1x09 thus far. I really liked both.
1x06 'Arrhythmia' was enjoyable. I actually really liked the case this time. ( Read more... )
