iariaI marathoned through Almost Human. It's - okay. Overall not great but I think it's getting better. I'm still watching. I really wish that the network hadn't messed around with the episode order though because I think that hurt the show. Episode 8, for instance, was meant to be the second episode and it really showed.
I'm mostly watching for Dorian, who is my favourite character, and the Dorian/Kennex relationship which is great. Thus far none of the four supporting characters have really been given much to do and I don't really care about any of them. The Maldonado/Kennex relationship is the most interesting.
1x05 annoyed me the most. The whole Maldonado subplot pissed me off. I hated it so much I don't even want to complain about it.
My favourite episodes are 1x06 and 1x09 thus far. I really liked both.
1x06 'Arrhythmia' was enjoyable. I actually really liked the case this time. The Dorian/Dorian 2 interactions were great as was Kennex aggravation in trying to deal with them. This episode even got me to laugh out loud when Dorian 2 inadvertently set off a series of unfortunate events. Poor MXs; hopefully they truly don't have any feelings considering the rate they get killed off in. I also loved Maldonado's reaction to seeing the two Dorian's sitting in the bullpen.
1x09 'Undbound' was also good. John Larroquette was great as Dr. Vaughn and I can't wait to see more of him. I loved his interactions with Dorian, especially that first scene between them. Gina Carrano was also great as Danica and hopefully we see her again (her head was mostly intact!) because I really want to know just what was going on with her. Why the killing sprees? This episode also introduced 'The Wall' and I am intrigued. I want to learn about that far more than the Insyndicate. It also had some nice Dorian/Kennex interaction and a great fight scene between Danica/Dorian&Kennex.
