• I don’t know that I buy Belle’s “what are you” to Rumpelstiltskin. Being scared and worried, sure. She was shot and had no idea where she was or who she was. But even though she didn’t know him he was clearly not trying to hurt her and then healed her wound. Of course then he went all pushy and intense and I can’t blame her freaking out at him later.
• It’s really sad that for someone as adventurous as Belle that she has spent so much time locked away – with Rumpelstiltskin, then by herself in the tower and then for twenty-eight years in Storybrooke. The show never really did explore that with regards to Belle and how it affected her. Perhaps this amnesia (which I’m sure is temporary) will be a good thing for her.
• I enjoyed the Emma/Hook scene. That lost shot of her face made it look as if she was regretful that he was likely to die (via rumple)
• Cora exploring Regina’s house was kind of creepy. It was shot very - disturbing stalker vision.
• The picture of Regina and Henry really interested me because Henry looked so happy in it. And I know pictures can lie but it looked very natural.
• This:
“Rumpelstiltskin and Captain Hook got into a fight and someone got hurt.”
“We weren’t sure if Dr. Frankenstein could fix him but he did.”
LOL
• Rolling my eyes at Dr. Whale apparently being the only doctor in Storybrooke.
• What happened to Emma’s ability to tell when people are lying to her? I guess TPTB really are using as a convenient crutch – working when they need it to, not working when the plot needs it not to. Super annoying. Also Emma is generally pretty good at her job and I hate when the show makes her come off incompetent to forward the plot.
• I can’t believe that no one made more of an effort to find Regina.
• Super excited about Rumpelstiltskin and Emma going on a road trip to find Baelfire – who has to be Neal. I can’t wait for all the reactions when they find him.
• I loved that the Frankenstein world was in black and white.
• I enjoyed Whale and Red bonding.
• The family scene at the end was really cute.
