Being Human 3x01 'Lia'
• Mitchell’s journey was interesting and I loved him being called out on playing victim and refusing to accept responsibility for what he did. That was awesome.
• I was mostly bored by the new werewolf father/son duo but I really liked Lia and I hope we see more of her. She was very interesting.
• “We play the long game here.” is fascinating to me. What did she mean by that? Lia actually encouraging Annie towards a relationship with Mitchell, even planting the idea there, has me wondering if that’s also just a part of ‘the long game’. The obvious idea here is that she wants for Mitchell to be happy and then for it to all to be taken away just to make him suffer more.
• I really want more Lia/Annie scenes. I liked that Annie didn’t just leave but that she stopped to ask Lia about what happened to her first (though I wish she’d said ‘sorry’).
• I loved Mitchell/Annie’s reunion. I still ship Annie/Mitchell a bit so the show actually going there now makes me happy.
• Annie's reunion with the others was wonderful. I loved that Nina actually hugged Mitchell she was so happy and then how gleeful she and Annie were when they hugged each other.
• The fact that they had a room all ready for her return complete with teapot gift made me go aww.
• So is Annie now attached to ‘life’ through her made-family instead of a location or was that attachment shifted to the new house?
• George/Nina were lovely and adorable.
White Collar 2x10 ‘Burke’s Seven’
• Some of the things I really liked:
- The return of Sara and her inclusion in the group. Her sincerely concern about Peter.
- Sara and Neal’s interactions and the fact that they now have in-jokes/names.
- “Do you want to prank call Peter?” Hee. I love Sara and Neal having fun together.
- Elizabeth being part of the group and helping in ways that made sense. I was really disappointed when she left the first meeting.
- El taking Mozzie a gift basket, playing him so well to get him involved, and then kissing his cheek before she left the room.
- Peter’s “I sent my best operative to get him.” ♥
- Jones finally being told everything.
- The fact that all the forgers love Mozzie.
Castle 3x13 ‘Knockdown’
• I loved Castle/Beckett this episode. I loved the kiss – it was such a cliché but I love clichés – and the way it shocked them and how they kissed a second time and the way they reacted to it was so perfect. I liked the way he said he thought she’d been shot and the expression they exchanged. Beckett going to Castle when she needed someone she trusted to be by her side made me happy. Her calling him Rick felt so intimate because they so rarely use first names and now I want it to happen more often. I loved Castle refusing to leave her side.
• “Like it or not I’m your plucky sidekick.” I love that Castle’s the sidekick, knows it and loves it.
• Beckett looked beautiful this episode. Her hair was gorgeous.
• Beckett was so bad ass in the final scene. I love the idea that there are a bunch of thugs/criminals who really like and respect her and would do her favours if she asked.
• If Castle is going to continue to get into dangerous situations, including gun fights, you’d think someone would bring up giving him some gun and/or self-defence lessons.
• I really liked the Martha/Castle scene. I loved her smacking him down when he asked where her concern was coming from and I liked that she forced him to confront just why he was still joining Beckett on cases.
• When Castle sat in front of Beckett’s open blinds just as she was saying that ‘the plucky sidekick always gets killed’ I was yelling ‘close the blinds!’ That seemed very stupid to me. They both know that there is a sniper – who just killed someone through open blinds – who has been following Beckett so why the hell wouldn’t she have those blinds closed ‘just in case’?
• I’m curious as to why Hal Lockwood took Ryan and Esposito instead of Beckett and Castle. Could Beckett be under a protection order from the final conspirator?
