iaria6x02 'The Sun'
Wow, that was really boring.
The only thing I liked was the Nora/Pam scene. I liked them making peace and I loved Pam getting to hear how much Eric does love her (since he's not doing so well with his words right now.) "Eric loves you, you know. ...But I knew of you, he spoke of you often. And fondly. You're what he's most proud of." Aww.
6x03 'You're No Good'
• As per usual Sookie/Jason were wonderful together. I really liked the scene in the bedroom. I love how they (mostly) are with each other. And I loved Sookie's response to Jason saying she was smarter than him - "No sweetie. I just don't have as many concussions is all." Not really true but really sweet.
• Look I can get where Sookie is coming from - Bill is Bilith, he's manipulated her dozens of times before, the whole future thing sounds crazy, also he thinks he's god, etc etc. She's has ample reason not to trust him. But when new powerful Bill says every vampire she knows/loves is going to die you'd think she'd at least want to know a little more. I mean, it's not like he's asking to use her in a ritual sacrifice! Get some specifics like what exactly he's planning on doing with her blood.
• Also why the hell wouldn't Bill lead with 'Tara will die' instead of adding her as an after thought?
• I actually was surprised when Bill left, even with his drama queen "you're dead to me". I was expecting him to just kidnap Sookie.
• Eric licking is blood off Willa's finger was pretty hot. Also smart.
• Ben's totally Warlow isn't he? That's my theory. At the very least he has to be working for him or something. I don't trust him.
• The first Niall/Ben scene was so, so bad. So bad. Horrible and fake and so very much 'have a scripted moment'. Niall randomly telling Ben his life story was ridiculous. Though thinking back it amuses me considering in the last episode he gave Jason shit for doing the exact same thing.
• Is it wrong that my reaction to Jessica's reaction to Bill telling her to dress slutty to meet the professor was to go aww?
• I rather enjoyed the Newlin's reunion. It was a fun little scene.
• Still care 0% about the Sam and Alcide/werewolf plots so I guess it's nice that they've combined into one.
- I just wish that Lafayette would wonder off to hang out with Sookie instead. Or Tara (though I see him fitting less well in that particular storyline right now. ... Or perhaps that's where Tara will go with Willa?
• I also liked the Andy scenes. But they make me wonder - does he know Sookie is a fairy? I can't remember. But if he did you'd think that he'd introduce her to his girls, maybe ask her some advice.
