Nikita 3x15 Thoughts

• I'm so glad that the show is back to the Nikita/Alex relationship. I loved all their scenes. I wasn't 100% sold on the conflict between Nikita and Alex in the last episode but in this one I bought it completely. I like that both their sides are understandable (for the most part - killing Danforth, really?) and the conflict made sense.
I like that they end more on the same page but that everything isn't fixed yet. There's still tension there that needs to be addressed as there should be. One thing I enjoyed about this episode was the tension created by the inner circle choosing sides, not everyone being on the same page. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing more of this.
• I was actually wavering about whether Amanda actually did mess with Alex's head beyond her usual manipulation - I could see where Alex was coming from and she's never been very big on the whole new Division situation - but in the end I'm still leaning towards yes. Alex choosing to tell the rest of Division the truth and essentially challenging Nikita in front of them doesn't seem like something Alex would do.
"Division can survive a lot. But not a war between the two of you." - Ryan. I just liked this line.
• I really liked the Michael/Nikita scene. They really had only the one scene but it was great. I loved him talking her down from her anger at Alex, and thus preventing her from making a mistake and mishandling the situation. I just really liked how he talked to her.
• So Division is once again blackmailing the government - only this time it's Nikita et al doing it. Alex seemed to think that this solved most of their problems - what with her declaration that they were free - but Nikita didn't seem convinced.
• Loved Alex and Birkoff working together.
"Should I bring a gun?" - Birkoff
"Absolutely not." - Alex
LOL
• Sean was interesting in this episode in that he appears to have done a 180 in his attitude, at least for this episode, - and yet it makes complete sense for his character. I love that. Assassinating a bad guy, even if he was a president, that had information that could be used against the US is something that I could see Sean condoning. And of course he would be against killing Danforth and essentially declaring war against the US government. Despite everything he is still loyal.
• I like how Owen was for killing Danforth because it makes sense as well. Unlike Sean he has no loyalty to the US government and his first reaction tends to be set to 'kill'. I love that despite his shock and uncertainty over Nikita sanctioning the kill order he still agreed to have her back.
• I loved the shot of Ops during Nikita’s meeting with Danforth with a bunch of the red shirt Division agents in the background watching.
• This episode would have had more oomph if the show had bothered to make some of the Division agents actual background characters that we'd gotten to know instead of just random red shirts. I think that so far this season that was the show's biggest misstep. They should have been exploring Division and it's agents and letting us get to know some of them so that we'd actually care what happens to them.
• Despite Ryan's mistakes he did tape his and Danforth's conversation before it came out that Danforth was setting them up. Another sign of him heading down Percy's path?
• "I hate being the dead guy." - Sean Huh. It surprises me that Sean's able to joke about it already. Still I like that little exchange between Sean and Nikita.
