True Blood Thoughts

• Eric and Pam were awesome. Loved them working together, without a word.
• Eric was awesome - the snarking throughout and then engineering the escape at the end.
• I liked all the Tara/Willa friendship happening, loved Tara's victorious smile when she sent Willa off. I also really liked the Tara/Jessica scenes in the previous episode. Now if we could just get some Tara/Sookie friendship again that would be nice.
• I was really not expecting Terry to actually die. I really wasn't. I liked him a lot. He was a good guy. I haven't been very emotionally connected to this season but his death got to me. I was a little teary.
- I think Arlene made the wrong choice in that she did it without Terry's permission but the idea itself wasn't actually a bad one. What if she had approached him and asked him to do it? Sigh. I suppose one good effect was that Terry's last day was a happy one, free of the guilt and pain and sadness.
• I've been liking Andy a lot this season and he's just getting the crap kicked out of him. Three daughters dead and now his cousin.
• I am glad that Andy's living daughter Adeline finally got a name and her request for four names to remember her sisters was a nice scene.
• Oh, Jessica. He killing the Bellefleur fairies was horrible and horrifying but watching her despair and self-loathing over it is pretty horrible as well.
• Warlow's whole plan is pretty messed up - sure, it works perfect for him but what the hell about what Sookie wants - and yet I still kind of like him.
• Oh, Sookie. Is she just so finished with fighting that she's decided to stop? It feels like she's kind of stuck in despair much like Jessica. Like her life is never ending vampires and fighting and blood so fine she'll just accept her fate.
• Sam and Alcide and their storylines continue to be horrible and boring.
6.07 'In the Evening'
• I like Willa. She was great at the beginning. Also she's proving surprisingly competent.
• I liked all the Sookie/Arlene/Lafayette scenes. I love when we get to see Sookie being a good friend. I liked Sookie and Lafayette together. I liked how Lafayette wasn't angry for a second over what Arlene said.
• I also liked how the scene played out when Bill showed up at the Bellefleur mansion. My reaction was the same as Holly's - just waiting for everything to go horribly wrong.
• I really wish we had gotten more of Nora and Nora/Eric before her death. She never really did much this season. Still her death was pretty horrible and Eric's reaction made it sad.
• I liked Pam being all conniving - taking control of the situation with Willa and keeping the truth about the Tru Blood a secret so the humans wouldn't know they were onto them, then manipulating/seducing the psychiatrist to get herself into general population.
• The flashback just had me thinking that Eric is very much attracted to a certain type of woman. Nora, Pam and Willa (and Sookie for that matter) share a lot of similarities. And for all that she's his sister, that Godric turned her into a vampire, it was Eric who found her and chose her.
• I feel like James is probably going to die - likely burned up in the white room - but I'm kind of hoping not because he seems like a really decent person. Jessica needs someone decent and I think he could be really good for her. (Jason is back to be good and sane but I feel like that ship has sailed.)
