Nikita 3x20 - 3x22 Thoughts

• I loved seeing Cyrus again. I wish he would have joined the team.
• Ryan facing down the SEAL commander at the end was pretty impressive.
• "If all people saw was what I did for Division..." - Nikita Yeah but here's the difference: no one is against Owen because of what he did for Division. He was part of the team! The problem is what he did before Division and especially what he's doing right now.
• The Owen/Alex scene was really nice. I think I detected a bit of caring there when he realised Sean had been killed.
• I liked how throughout the episode Michael was calling Owen 'Sam' while Nikita called him 'Owen'.
• Okay seriously how does Amanda still have allies? I find this perplexing considering the way she blows through them and her minions. Why the hell would anyone work with her? Plus I thought she was broke?
• It also didn't make sense to me that they would have stayed at Division instead of retreating to a safehouse. It's not like staying in Division added anything to their cause with Shadow Net down. The conversation about how they took Percy down from safehouses because he stayed where they could find him just highlighted how dumb them staying was.
3x21 'Invisible Hand'
• As always the Nikita/Amanda scenes were great. I love their interactions.
"A perfect killer. My most perfect creation." - Amanda. She is so desperate for Nikita to be her. To follow the same path as her. To know that she is Amanda's creature and no better than her.
• I understand why everyone, especially Michael, wanted to just move on but Nikita was right - Amanda would never let Nikita go. As long as Amanda is gone Nikita and her loved ones will always be in danger.
• Loved the Nikita/Alex hug.
• The Sonja/Alex scene was great. I just really wish we could have gotten more scenes this season of Sonja's relationship with anyone other than Birkoff.
• I love that the new hand was a trojan horse the entire time. I've was a little... annoyed and bitter at how seemingly cavalierly they seemed to take Jason's death in order to get it. How appropriate that if Michael hadn't been so desperate to get his hand back things might have gone so differently. Of course this is Amanda so it's still likely that she would have gotten to him.
• We've never met Henry before, I think, but his death still annoyed me because it was clear that he was a good ally to Nikita and his apology was sincere and it really just felt like one more death for her mission that Nikita won't think of again.
• I really liked this new path that's opened up for Alex. Special Envoy to the UN, working to save others from human trafficking - it's perfect for her. That is completely something she would find rewarding and fulfilling. And she would be so good at it with her past.
3x22 ''Til Death Do Us Part'
• Nikita taking off at the end didn't really make sense to me. They're her family and if anything has been proven it's that they are stronger together. It's implied she's leaving to protect them all but she can't believe that they a) won't search for her, and b) won't continue to try to clear Nikita's name and figure out who The Shop are and what they want. Her not being there with them doesn't really protect them.
• I really liked how the situation played out at the beginning - Birkoff and Michael being suspicious, Nikita leaving clues and the team figuring everything out.
• I loved the scene where Michael and Alex track Nikita down at the construction site.
• I love that Alex was having all sorts of great ideas this episode. Figuring out to go after Kang, figuring out to kill Michael to destroy the nano-toxin and then her idea to take the UN Envoy position in order to investigate The Shop locations.
• I'm shaking my head that the team staying at Division is biting them in the ass yet again. I realise that it's only really been hours from the end of the last episode and the start of this one but still.
• Birkoff and Ryan fighting back was great but them failing makes sense. They are non-agents against trained Division killers. Alex against two is better but I have to admit I really think that she would have put up a better fight - even against other Division agents. It would have been nice to have seen her kicking more butt.
• I loved Nikita coming in and kicking ass. That was an awesome sequence.
• Why were all of the (surviving) Dirty Thirty male? It just stuck out.
• Michael reviving after Nikita's pleading and when hope was seemingly gone was a bit much for me. It would have worked better if Nikita had still been desperately working to save him while pleading so him coming back wouldn't feel so - contrived.
• I liked Nikita getting to push the button to destroy Division.
• I'm glad Amanda survived because I really enjoy her and her interactions with Nikita and Alex.
