• I actually loved all the Elena/Stefan/Rebekah scenes in this episode. I loved Rebekah forcing them into laying everything on the table and it worked because it is totally something Rebekah would do. Nina and Paul both did a great job.
• "Get in your car. Right now. Come to me." - Damon. Yikes. Just... he couldn't have said something like 'if you want to come here you can'? No, instead he makes it a command. I don't understand why he would say it that way. I did love his expression during the phone call though.
• That end was pretty dark. Klaus and Damon, whatever, they're monsters. I mean Damon has been trying to be better and this is really going to damage his relationship with Elena when she learns the truth (or at least it should and hope it does). But it's Damon so it's not really that unexpected. But Jeremy... they are really going full tilt dark with him. He's already killed a couple vampires already, including a friend of a friend, so his storyline was already pretty dark but there were a lot of people in that bar. This is not going to go anywhere good for him.
• "It's why I've updated our relationship status to: it's complicated." Damon to Jeremy LOL.
• "That's for Carol Lockwood." -Damon. It's actually been so long since I watched this show that my first thought was actually 'why would he care' and then was like 'duh'. They weren't as close as Damon/Liz but the Damon/Carol relationship was really nice and I love that he's upset by her death. I loved him shooting Klaus (even if it probably wasn't the smartest decision.)
• "I think you're sad, and bored and in desperate need of a hobby." - Elena I loved this line.
• I am so glad that April didn't die which is what I was expecting. I'm intrigued to see where she's going. A little confused about how she knew about Shane but I'll assume Rebekah told her.
• It seemed weird, considering the Elena/April connection, that Elena didn't immediately go to April's side and use her blood.
• I'm going to just assume that using the Expression magic is already affecting Bonnie to explain why she didn't do much more than blink at getting a necklace made of human bone from Shane.
• It would have been nice if we'd gotten a least a line about Elena and Stefan worrying about Caroline.
• The show is gonna need to work to make Rudy someone I'll care about. He basically all but abandoned Bonnie, including after Sheila's death when she needed him even more, so him talking about how it's his job to protect Bonnie now is a bit rich. I really hope we get to see Bonnie confront him about it.
• Yeah, Stefan's plan to dagger Rebekah was really dumb. Not just because she's older and stronger and was expecting them and thus it was highly unlikely that she would be caught unawares but also because a vampire using the white ash stake would kill the vampire! Geez. I'm going to blame this one on the writers.
