iariaSleepy Hollow: I've been watching and enjoying this series. The story is pretty crazy but it's also really fun. I like the characters and the partnership between Abby and Ichabod is great. 'The Key of Solomon' was the best episode so far. I love the Abby/Jenny relationship. I'd love for Jenny to become a main character as well. I really want the show to explore the fact that Corbin was a mentor to both sisters and exactly how that makes both of them feel. Abby never knew - does she feel betrayed by that? Jenny grew up knowing - was she jealous of her sister's more public relationship with him? Also I really want zombie John Cho to come back. He was the best.
The Vampire Diaries 4x21 'She's Come Undone'
• Unlike most opinions I've seen I have mostly been enjoying humanity-less Elena but it's still nice to have her back to normal. I really, really need some Elena/Caroline and Elena/Bonnie re-bonding scenes now.
• I love that while Elena was physically helpless for most of the episode, emotionally and mentally, she more than held her own. She was in control in pretty much all her interactions and that was awesome. I loved when she flung open the curtains and let herself go up in flames.
• I also loved that Elena's return was based on two things - her friendship with Matt and her hatred towards Katherine - and not because of romantic love towards either of the Salvatore's.
• Plan torture was horrible (though understandable, I guess, coming from Stefan who learned from Lexie) but I did love plan 'fake kill Matt'. That was an excellent idea.
• I loved that despite everything Elena had already done and said Caroline still tried one last time to get through to her.
• I am so glad that Liz survived. I was really sad and getting pretty upset when it looked like she was really dead. They absolutely can not kill her.
• For once it wasn't Caroline being tortured and yet she still had a horrible time this episode. Silas messing with her head was creepy and then her mom almost died. Poor Caroline. She seriously needs to stick to the whole 'get mom and get out of Mystic Falls' plan.
• I'm a little upset with Bonnie for just leaving despite the fact that she could hear that Liz appeared to be dead. She didn't even try to bargain with Silas so she could be there for Caroline. Even having Matt get a call from her at the end of her scene would have been enough.
• I'm super excited about the upcoming Elena vs Katherine showdown. I expect awesome things. At the same time I am really worried about Katherine's survival. Elena won't die (permanently) but I can see them killing off Katherine and that would make me so mad. The fact that Elijah broke up with her actually makes me feel a little less worried but not by much.
• "Your boyfriends invited me." - Katherine. Still loving this type of thing. Now if the boyfriends in question can keep working together/stay on the same side when not torturing Elena to get back her humanity that would be great.
• Stefan and Damon bringing Katherine in on their torture Elena plan really didn't seem like a good idea. They have no way to control Katherine - she is older and stronger and there's no witch in the wings to keep her in line - so she easily could have killed Elena if she'd wanted.
