Doctor Who Thoughts

iaria7x10 'Journey To The Center Of The TARDIS'
It was okay.
• The opening scene with the Doctor and Clara was great. I loved him trying to help Clara and the TARDIS bond.
• I loved getting to finally see some of the inside of the TARDIS. The gorgeous library, the room with keepsakes (the crib!) and the pool.
• I loved the punches instead of hugs after the Doctor saved Clara. That was a fun scene.
• Is the TARDIS blowing up here connected to the TARDIS blowing up at the end of season five? The crack between time here looked a lot like the crack from season 5 as well.
• Time wasn't just rewound as if the whole episode had never occurred - Clara was exhausted, Gregor had changed in his attitude towards Tricky and Tricky was in the family photo. So yet another case of slightly changing the universe. I wonder what other little changes could go along with this? Specifically could Clara subconsciously remember the Doctor's name?
• So... 1) the Doctor has his name written down in a book, which b) he has sitting out in his open library where anyone can see it? I find that hard to believe unless the TARDIS specifically showed Clara to it for some reason. I'm just really not fond of the idea of the Doctor's name being written down. If it's that easy to learn his name what was with the Doctor's "the only way you could know my name..." thing with River back in season 4?
• The Doctor's look and grin after Clara wondered if he was shifting it to basic because she was a girl was stupid and unnecessary. Of course it's not because she's a bloody girl and yet the Doctor's reaction makes it seem like it is.
7x11 'The Crimson Horror': Meh. It was nice to see Vastra, Jenny and Strax again. I loved that their front door resembles the TARDIS. I liked Jenny hiding a catsuit under her dress (not so much the Doctor's reaction). I liked the Doctor/Ada relationship.
