Intelligence Thoughts

There were couple things I actually really loved in this episode.
- Riley and Gabriel's partnership is starting to gel for me and they worked really well here. They very much felt like equals and I loved that. Riley's trick with the watch was clever and I like that she trusted completely that Gabriel would figure it out and was ready to act when he did arrive. I love that her and Mackenzie's rescue wasn't just Gabriel swooping in to save them but Gabriel and Riley working together (even with Riley as one of the kidnapped) to save them.
- I also super loved the final scene with Lillian arranging Hector's murder. I liked how it was framed - the woman in the tub would often have just been background, an object, so for her to be the assassin/asset was excellent (even though I saw it coming.) I liked that Lillian felt the need to call Hector, to speak to him and that she listened to him die even though she really didn't need to. It adds some really nice grey to the character. I also liked how she smiled at her dad, after listening to his asset that she'd just had killed die, and didn't show a hint of it.
