Nikita 4x01 Thoughts

• I liked how the team spent the last several months trying to help Nikita - Michael tracking her, Ryan trying to put everything together with a conspiracy board, Alex & Sonja tracking The Shop and Birkoff keeping them all connected - all of them still a well oiled team.
• "Alex thinks she's Batman which I guess makes my girlfriend Robin." - Birkoff. Hee. I'd watch that.
• I loved Birkoff calling Nikita on her leaving them and how dumb it was that she thought they'd accept it. That is exactly what I wanted someone to do since the finale because it was completely stupid.
• I liked Birkoff's resentment and snarkiness and Michael's quiet hurt and distance towards Nikita. It works for them and their relationships with her as did Ryan's apparent complete lack of anger and Alex's trust in her.
• I liked the short Michael/Nikita scene and that it wasn't some big emotional reunion. She abandoned him and even if he understands why of course he's hurt and angry and there really wasn't time to go into it right then. But even with the distance you can still see how much they love each other.
• I loved Michael's eyeroll when she took over the plan and Birkoff's "my god, she does expect us to obey her." I'm interested to see if this goes any further. Is it going to be easy for her to fit back in with them?
• "Will you please talk to her before she loses patience and decides to try and shoot her way through the side of the building." - Birkoff
"What happens if I shoot the fan?" - Nikita.
LOL. I loved Birkoff's 'see!' gesture. Yeah, he knows her well.
• It's too bad that Dale was killed because he could have been a good ally for Nikita. I really liked that little moment where he tells Nikita he believes she didn't kill the president and you can see how much it affected her.
• I liked Alex deciding to continue with her op and trusting that Nikita had a plan.
