When the Bough Breaks'

• Great Duke/Audrey. I loved him telling her that he believed in her. I loved Duke working out the secret himself. I also loved that he noticed her expression when she cursed Lincoln and more importantly understood exactly what it meant. And then he confronted her about it and refused to let her lie to him.

If any one can understand Audrey right now it's Duke. His family Trouble is also dark and enticing. It made him want to use it more. He knows how Audrey felt in that moment. And he just lost his brother to his family curse.

"The temptation is too much. He will get you back, you won't be Audrey Parker anymore, and you won't care. I do care. I care about you. I'm not going to let you do this." I love Duke being so open about how he cares about Audrey (and how he said 'I care about you') but honestly this is pretty much antithetical to what Duke is. He has always accepted Audrey's choices - even when that choice was to enter the barn.

"Trouble solving machine or whatever she is." - Gloria. This annoyed me. Why is Gloria directing this at Nathan instead of Audrey who is right there? It should be 'whatever you are' instead of making Audrey just an object that Nathan is in charge of which is sort of how it comes off.

"She only is and always will be Audrey Parker." - Nathan. Okay, there is sticking your head in the sand and then there is this. Seriously Nathan? He knows about at least three other versions of her, hell, he slept with one of them!

I also had a problem with this:

"I used to love him." - Audrey
"...You have me now." - Nathan

It just came off very insecure and possessive. It's all about him. It felt like him missing the point too.

• Ooo, another Audrey predecessor. I wish we'd gotten at least a name for her. I want to know all of them.

• Here's the thing - why does Audrey have to give Duke back the same curse? She doesn't! In fact she shouldn't. The idea of giving a curse to Duke is because she knows both Duke and his family curse very well and so will have a better chance of not messing it up. But knowing Duke is why I think the Crocker curse should, and likely, will be changed. Duke cares about people, he wants to save them and he goes out of his way to do so even as he complains. He hates killing. It makes more sense to give him a similar curse but with a twist. Say, he removes family Troubles but this time it doesn't kill the person?

Regardless of how the new curse shows itself (if it even happens) it can't be the same old Crocker Trouble.

• I hope that they don't actually manage to send William away because I'm really enjoying him.
