Nikita 4x04 Thoughts

I enjoyed the episode but I loved that ending.
• The biggest issue I was having while watching (minus the Alex thing) was that it was all happening so quickly. It just seemed too easy and that left me feeling disappointed. At first I thought the missile/Ramon situation was a set-up to let Nikita save the day, then it seemed I was wrong. But I just wasn't thinking big enough. Mr. Jones's plan was brilliant - let Nikita save the world from ww3, save the president and clear her name. Let her think she won and leave her to start the ordinary life she wanted. Pay Nikita her 'price', indeed.
• This also answers my irritation at Amanda giving Peller a computer. That was a very stupid decision especially since she hadn't completely messed with his head yet and I just couldn't buy her doing it. I love that all the little mistakes that the bad guys made were actually all part of their larger plan.
• But what the hell is 'The Shop's' end goal if they can so easily dump their WW3 plan, their billion dollar private military company and let the whole clone technology out of the bag just to get rid of Nikita?
• I do feel like Nikita might think she wants an ordinary everyday life but that once she actually has it she'd find it less appealing then she thought. I think Alex might be the same, though her discontent this episode might be more about the others being in danger and not being there then not being in the middle of the action. I'd love if the series ended with the team doing similar but legal work together. Like, running a kidnapping rescue company.
• Also even if Nikita does want a quiet normal life I don't know that she could have it. I mean she's probably the most famous woman in the world. Everyone knows her face. I'm glad there are two episodes left because I'm really curious to see how things play out with the whole world knowing the truth about her now.
• I feel like a broken record but I really want Alex/Nikita and once again the closest we got was a phone call. I was so there with Alex and wanting her back with the team and in on the action.
• "I know how to live with the pain. I just haven't figured out what to do with the regret." - Alex. I liked the Alex/Sam conversation and I loved this line. But I really loved Alex switching the diamonds with glass and putting a tracker on the case. Sam is clearly conflicted and he did the right thing this episode but I don't want him to successfully play Alex if he decides to go the other way.
• I loved president Spencer's expression when she realised it was Division who saved her and her tone when she said 'Division.', lol.
• I liked the Nikita/Amanda scene. I loved Nikita calling her Helen and trying to save her. I also bought 'Amanda's' reaction - refusing to let Nikita win completely - it felt real. However I'm glad that's not actually how Amanda went out. I want something a bit more epic.
• I also liked the Ramon/Michael face-off. The fight was good but I especially liked Ramon forcing Michael to face the fact that much of what's been happening recently was because of his deal for a new hand. And that it was Nikita who has been facing most of the consequences.
