Nikita 4x05 Thoughts

• Oh, Ryan. It was sad but what an amazing way to go out for the character. He stayed true to himself and his ideals till the end and he got to be kickass doing it. He fought all the way through the episode and was amazing. He felt something was off and so he kept digging until he learned the truth. He used skills he learned while with Nikita to free himself and dealt Amanda some damage on his way out. Even while shot he took out several henchmen. When cornered he jumped out a window rather then let himself be brainwashed and then he held on until he could tell Nikita everything. It was a hero's death. I loved Nikita lying her medal on him before leaving.
• "He's my family." - Nikita. Sniff. They're all family.
• It was weird that Michael wasn't right there in the hospital too. They've reconciled, he was there when she got the call - that scene should have ended with Michael coming up behind her and holding her in his arms as they grieved together.
• I love that Nikita called Alex immediately to tell her.
• So Michael and Nikita are definitely back together and I love it. I love the teasing and the sweetness and the making out. I love that they're happy again. But I do wish we'd gotten to see them actually talk about their issues. It just sort of got glossed over which was disappointing.
• Okay did we know that Michael's last name was Bishop? Because if so I forgot. Yay, for him finally getting a full name if not.
• I like that Sam proved loyal in the end and I enjoyed Alex rescuing him (the scene was excellent and kind of felt like old times) but ugh at the sex. I guess I knew it was coming but I was hoping I was wrong. I'm just not a fan of the romance. I was glad that Alex put a hold on things until he figured out who he was.
• "I can't do it alone. I need you. I need your help one last time. We started this fight together. Just you and me. It's time to finish what we started." Fuck yeah. I loved the end. That's what I've been waiting for. But I still can't believe the show waited five episodes till Nikita and Alex were on screen together again. I am never going to be over that.
