Almost Human was cancelled. It's sad because I really loved Dorian and I wanted to see more of him. He was such a great character and well-played by Michael Ealy. Plus I really enjoyed the Dorian/Kennex partnership and I liked Kennex (most of the time.) The show itself was disappointing overall but there were episodes I really enjoyed and it was definitely improving. I think it had a lot of potential.

The Blacklist

1x20 'The Kingmaker' (No. 42)

+ I was honestly surprised when Red told Liz that he had killed her father. Was he really telling the truth then that he's never lied to her/will never lie to her? It makes me believe him telling her he wasn't her father a little more.

+ Wow. That is the most calm 'you killed my parent' revelation/confrontation ever. WTH? I was expecting a little more than that!

+ I'm also really getting annoyed with Red ignoring/brushing aside Liz's questions and Liz letting him. Seriously show, just answer the bloody questions already.

1x21 'Berlin' (No. 8)

+ None of it is worse than losing you." - Red. Okay, no seriously why is Liz so important to Red?! His emotional investment in her is so extreme that I can't think of any reason for it beyond her being his daughter or that he's in love with her. Considering how they've been dragging it out I feel doubtful that we're going to learn the truth this season.

+ I really liked that final scene as a Red/Liz moment but it doesn't really make sense to me as far as Liz goes. Why does learning that Red is under attack and started the whole blacklist situation as a means to protect himself cause her to change her mind about working with him? Why does she immediately run to try and help him escape the FBI? She tells him she wants answers but it's not like she ever would have gotten them once the FBI took him. So - ??? It didn't make character sense to me.

+ I loved Liz infecting Vogel with the virus in order to get the names out of him. That is exactly the kind of ruthlessness I want to see more of! After all it was her stabbing Red in the neck that made me love her.

+ Does Tom really believe that Berlin, and thus he himself, are the good guys or was he just playing Liz? Because all the actions this episode pretty firmly take them out of that category. Multiple innocent people were killed in order to pull off the prisoner rescue. Tom murdered the tail who seemed like just a random guy doing his job.

+ I find myself wondering if Berlin might not be Liz's birth father? Red saved her from the fire/stole her and then hid her with Sam?

+ I like the Liz/Donald friendship. The show has done a pretty good job at showing their relationship evolving to a place where Liz feels like she can confide in him. I also liked him and Meera's unquestioning support of her decision to leave the task force. It'd be nice if next season would develop the Liz/Meera relationship the same way.
