Necessary Roughness 3x02 & 3x03 Thoughts

iaria3x02 'Gimme Some Lovin'
• "If she gets hurt in any way... you do not want me as an enemy." - Nico. Love his protectiveness. I'm also enjoying their slightly antagonistic interactions.
• If Nico is working for a government agency is it really wise to be threatening them like that? Are they not government?
• John Stamos is great as Connor McClain. I'm really enjoying him. He is in fact pretty charming.
• I'm also loving the Connor/Dani relationship and I think I could even end up shipping them if they continues as is. I like his appreciation for her. I think they have a really nice rapport. I like their chemistry.
• The extent that TK goes to in order to be able to see Dani again is ridiculous but I love it. I also loved that when he was stressed and tempted by something he knew was wrong he called Dani and talked to her answering machine until he'd worked out what to do. That's pretty adorable. Serious, can Dani just adopt him already?
• Dani/Troy continue to amuse me. "Oh, so you're looking for a magician!" Heh.
• I actually really liked Cindy. She was messed up and did some bad things but she seemed a pretty good, if desperately lonely, person. Maybe it's because she just seemed so lonely and sad that I feel for her more.
3x03 'Swimming with the Sharks'
Why couldn't the show have made this change last season? I am loving this season and now there are only 7 episodes left which just makes me sad. This was a really enjoyable episode.
• I love what this show is doing with Dani/Nico and how they've played it since the beginning. Very slow build with growing friendship and trust, slow reveal that he has feelings for her, almost sex that leads to them backing off because it's not the right time... it was done so well. That leads to their current relationship where there are all these complicated feelings still and now she isn't in love with another guy but he's secretly working to take down their boss and thus is keeping his distance from her and that adds a whole new tension between them. I'm actually really enjoying it. I loved the scene in her office.
• I am totally behind the potential Nico/Dani/Connor triangle. I like both Dani relationships and Nico/Connor is interesting considering Nico is working to betray him and Connor's issues with betrayal. And frankly the fact that Connor might be a bad guy just makes me more interested. That last scene of Nico looking down on Connor and Dani dancing was great. I want more.
• Connor/Dani are kind of delightful. I loved the scene where Dani confronts him about using her as a lure/bait.
• TK/Rex are adorable. This is what TK has needed - a friend to hang out with and talk to who isn't Dani.
• I liked how the situation with Paloma played out. I thought Dani was being too harsh at first but I loved their final conversation and them coming to an understanding.
• The fact that Devon knew who Dani was shows just how well Dani is becoming known in the business. I'd love an episode with some other agency trying to poach her.
• The show is doing good with Dani's clients. I liked Devon.
• Connor's meeting with TK did end up going a pretty intimidating route at the end there. Just what exactly is Nico investigating? I was thinking maybe something more white collar but could it be more along the lines of Connor destroy the lives of people who get on his wrong side? ... or is it just doing illegal things to help his clients?
• I was really surprised that TK didn't go to Dani about the situation with Abby/Connor. I mean I like that he was upfront with Connor and confronted him about it but it's just really weird that he didn't immediately go to Dani. This is TK. His first thought would have been Dani. In fact he would have gone directly from his 'date' with Abby to Dani's house to rant to her about it. It felt really off that he didn't.
• I wonder if Sheera is a plant from Connor to keep TK happy at V3?
