• So much great Dani/Nico. Dani/Nico together finally! But - fade to black, really show? I want sexytimes! Oh well. It doesn't matter - Dani made her move, yay! There's only one episode left and I find myself worried. Is it too much to ask that nothing goes wrong in the relationship and they end the series happily starting something new together?
- I love that when Dani was getting mad at Nico and lashed out that every time she gets near him things in her life explode he didn't let her get away with it and pointed out that he did try to keep her out of it and she wouldn't let him.
- I love that when he tried to take control by telling her to 'lay low' and let him handle it her immediate response was 'no way'.
- I loved this bit especially:
"Dani going rogue. I'm not playing nice anymore." - Dani
"You and me both." - Nico
- I just really love when he gets super angry when people mess with Dani. Like at the end - I loved how pissed off he was when he stormed into Dani's - pissed because she had harassed/in trouble and she didn't tell him and thus he couldn't protect her.
• All the Paloma stuff was great. I especially loved that she was the one who put the final nail in Troy's coffin using the payoff that he used to win over her. So, so satisfying. I also loved the assistant network, her good friendship with Jasmine and Jasmine keeping her appraised of everything happening.
• I like the Dani/Paloma relationship so I was really glad that Dani did look further into what happened to her. I just wish that they hadn't thrown incompetent Stuart into the mix because it made Dani trying to help Paloma partially self-serving. I wanted it to be all about Paloma, not in large part also because of Dani's need for a good assistant. Plus Stuart made no sense anyway. He was a comically bad assistant who'd been around long enough that Paloma knew exactly who Dani was talking about and yet this is V3 which is all about competence. He would have been fired long ago.
That said you really get the sense that this is the beginning of a really good friendship between them and I love that.
• I wasn't surprised when the window rolled down to show Connor at the end. I wasn't expecting it to be him but I really wasn't surprised it was. I didn't miss the fact that Connor sidestepped all off Abby's questions and attempts to get him to talk. You could wave it away because of them working together but it made me go hmm. Especially because his attitude towards her has a very definite tinge of self-servingness to it. Does he care or is he using her?
Sometimes Connor seems like a good, fairly stand up guy who maybe bends the rules here and there. Other times though I find myself very uncertain about him. You could say his play against Troy here was him simply playing hard ball to protect his job and company. He had to do whatever it took. Except he already had Bruce working with him so did he not trust her? Was he just being thorough?
But then there was Troy's explanation to Abby - "He had me. I did everything. ... I'm the only one who's hands are dirty here. He has fingerprints on none of this." - and that does not sound like Connor's innocent. That sounds like Connor was in on everything shady that Troy did.
• I found all the 'fight' talk by Dani this episode really interesting. She tells the boxer "I do loves me a fight." and she tells Nico "I can fight my own battles." and "I don't walk away from a fight. I'm not sure that it means anything but it is interesting. These last couple episode have been emphasizing, in fact, what a fighter Dani is especially when people try to intimidate or tell her what to do. I love that about her.
• I loved both Dani and Nico's interactions with the FBI. Dani being completely unflinching during her interrogation was awesome. I loved how calm she was and her refusal to be intimidated by him. Then there was Nico physically attacking the agent which I kind of found hot. I admit I enjoy when he gets all physical and violent. I also liked that he did shake the agent's hand at the end.
• I loved Dani's warning to TK about asking more questions about the treatment and that he did. I loved Nico asking him for his help.
• "Et tu brute." - Connor. Yeah, okay, whatever you big drama queen.
• I like India, and the India/TK back and forth has been fun. I feel like the show is setting up a potential romance and even with what little we've seen of them they would clearly work better then TK and Sheera. I also really liked that he was worried about her and called her his friend.
