As a series ending it worked pretty well. It left all three of our main characters {Dani, TK and Nico) in a pretty good place and it mostly wrapped up the season long story arc. This was never one of my favourite shows but I enjoyed it and it only got better this season. It's too bad it's ended so soon.
• All the Dani and Nico stuff was so good. The morning after was sweet. I loved Dani's reaction to learning about Nico's wife (she is just so over his secrecy crap) and his quiet 'fuck fuck fuck' reaction. I loved Dani smacking Nico down for keeping things from her and how unacceptable that was in a relationship. I loved him respecting her keeping things strictly business as they tried to figure out the V3 situation. I loved him turning up at the end to tell her that he turned down Dallas - and then giving her a list of information about him to show that he chose her. I loved that they ended the show together and with things looking positive. Of course, it just makes me want more of them especially with all the new Nico information (finally!) but if the series had to end at least this was a pretty positive note.
- I really want to know what is up with the plane! Clearly Nico has some serious money. We also have that mysterious line from Alex about thinking Nico was "out of the game". He says he is but at the same time he stated that she 'may have jeopardized him'. So - spy? Really sad and annoyed that we're never going to know. I did love the exchange over his name. She likes Dominic and he likes Nico, and then she uses Dominic. You just know that now that she knows his full name she's going to be using it. Also I love that he likes cats and in fact has a cat named Onyx. That was unexpected.
• TK. This was a really great episode, and end, for TK. I loved him and everything to do with him. My god, has he grown as a character and this episode showcased it so well. From him sneaking back into the clinic to warn India and giving her a job, to his understanding that the treatment was morally wrong, to his very mature breakup with Sheera, all the way to him sacrificing his chance at playoffs so his team could go this episode catelogued all the ways that TK has changed and become such an amazing person.
• I loved the Dani/TK scene. It was lovely. I just regret that we didn't have more focus on them this season
• The little TK/Rex friendship moments were great. I loved "They call those things dumbasses for a reason." LOL.
• TK/Sheera finally broke apart permanently as I've been expecting from almost the beginning. I really liked how it was handled. I liked that it was Sheera revealing how different their morals and goals were, something TK's reaction made clear he suspected already, that was the final nail in their relationship. I loved how mature and together TK was during their final argument. I honestly think he was actually rather relieved to end it and I certainly know I was relieved. I'm glad the the show ended with that relationship, which was pretty toxic overall, over and done.
• Connor seemed weirdly gleeful during the Alex/Nico/Dani meeting.
• They left it open as to whether Connor got on the plane or not but I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't. He's have to be facing jail time and I don't see Connor finding that acceptable.
• I'm a tiny bit disappointed that over the season the show dropped the potential Dani/Connor that was hinted at in the first couple episodes. That could have been an interesting confrontation.
• The trailer for the episode ended with a the FBI agent approaching Nico and Dani at the plane and saying that he was there for Dani. This is clearly how the episode was going to end and the PTB cut it off when they learned the show hadn't been renewed and I'm glad they did. But what reason could the FBI want Dani? All I can think of is that Connor turned himself over but stated that he'd only talk to Dani.
