White Collar and King's Shield Thoughts

iariaA couple short thoughts on some things:
White Collar 3x03 'Deadline' - I loved this episode. I enjoy Neal/Sara a lot. The case was good and I liked Helen. Diana was awesome. Neal now sharing an in-joke with Diana makes me happy. I loved finally getting to meet Christy and the dinner party was great. I think this show needs to have a dinner party every episode. Next up the Burkes and Diane/Christie. There was not enough Elizabeth.
White Collar 3x04 'Dentist of Detroit' - A good episode. I liked the Mozzie background and little Mozzie was adorable. Loved the Mozzie/Elizabeth and Mozzie/June scenes. Loved Neal's "the next time your hot wife gets lonely tell her to call me" line during his 'fight' with Peter and El taking a 'prom' picture of them before they left.
King’s Shield by Sherwood Smith
I enjoyed this book a lot.
- I’m worried about Inda. Now that he no longer has Dun watching his back he won’t have a ‘sixth sense’ while fighting. For years now he’s depended on that. It’s what has made him such an amazing and ‘unbeatable’ fighter. I don’t think he even realises what it means that Dun is gone. So what’s going to happen during his next fight? How badly is this going to hurt his fighting ability? Plus this could end up affecting how other people view him. What will people’s opinions be when he is suddenly not as amazing a fighter? I admit I’m rather attached to him being this admired and remarkable fighter and I don’t want it gone.
- Possibly this is a very cracky theory but I think Fox might end up king of the Venn.
- Evred/Inda is clearly never going to happen but I still ship it. The shared rings made me smile. I love Inda becoming Evred's Harskialdna.
- I am very interested to see where the last book goes with Evred's love for Inda. A number of people noticed it but is anyone ever going to tell Inda? What would his reaction be?
- I continue to love how this series deals with sex and sexuality and relationships.
- I felt like Tau/Jeje happened... too fast? They got a lot of build up as far as feelings go in the last book and I was expecting it to take awhile for them to actually get together. Instead in the third chapter he gives her a massage, there's sex and voila they are together and happy with no awkwardness or conversation needed.
- I definitely wasn't expecting Tau/Hadand and Tau/Evred. I wonder if either of those are going anywhere? I did wonder if Hadand might become pregnant after their night together but there was no mention of it so I guess not.
- There wasn't enough Hadand in this book. Hopefully in the last one she'll have a bigger role.
- I love where the book went with the Signi/Inda/Tdor triangle.
