White Out
• I loved the Emma/Elsa bonding.
• All the Charming/Emma father/daughter stuff was lovely. Their responses to 'what baby's dream of' and shared look, Charming talking to her about Henry, his talk with Hook, Emma calling him 'dad' on the walkie-talkie (awww!) - it was all wonderful.
• "He's a doctor, not an electrician!" - Grumpy. LOL.
• Snow's rant was hilarious. I actually laughed out loud. I also found her pride and glee at getting the power working adorable.
• I liked Emma defending Regina to Henry but during it all I could think was 'wow, how things have changed'.
• I loved Henry marching back to the house and refusing to let Regina ignore him. I loved his little rant about how it was his house too. So is he moving back in? I can't see Emma wanting him living away from her permanently so split custody? Or maybe Emma moving in with them? That could be delightful.
• "Henry has two moms who both put up walls. Looks like he's taking after both his moms." - Charming.
• I love that Little Bo Peep is a feared warlord in the Enchanted Forest.
• I still like Anna but she came off as a lot more awkward this episode. She didn't work as well for me.
• "Whatever we become is as much up to her as it is to me." - Hook. I liked this but I also found myself wishing Hook would just wander off for awhile. I was far more interested in the Charming/Emma interactions.
• David defeating the guards after a couple days learning with Anna made me roll my eyes. Going against Bo Peep as an 'impossible battle' would have been more believable if she hadn't been so easy to defeat.
• I see what the show was doing tying Anna teaching Charming who then uses what he learned from her to talk Elsa through controlling her powers but it left me very meh. I'd have far preferred Emma and Elsa working together to figure it out instead.
• The fact that neither Rumplestiltskin nor Regina played any part in rescuing Emma was weird. Rumplestiltskin was supremely unhelpful and no one seemed very bothered by that. Considering that Emma is Henry's mom you'd think he'd show some concern but he didn't even pretend to show any. Then there's the fact that they didn't even seem to try and get a hold of Regina considering how easy it was for Henry to find her at her house later. What was up with that? With magic the culprit shouldn't that have been their first stop? It just makes no sense.
• Seriously David's mom - you sent Anna to Rumplestiltskin instead of the Blue Fairy or almost any other magic user in the kingdom??? And here I thought she liked her.
