Episode 10

• I loved Seung Hee creeping her way through the NSS like a ninja and I really loved that she jury rigged a phone to work. Her fight with the north agent was pretty impressive as well – very vicious and she got a significant beating – and I loved that she immediately went back out. She’s pretty awesome.

• Why wouldn’t Seung Hee shoot at Hyun Joon once he stopped in the hall? I mean she was around the corner and had cover while all he had was a long hallway. Does she think that she’s that bad a shot? Also while I sort of understand Sun Hwa running down to where the two of them were – she wanted most of all to keep the fact that both of them were alive from each other – Seung Hee could have very easily have shot him before Sun Hwa got there. In fact I was really confused about why she didn’t but am going under the assumption that since she had the drop on him she wanted him alive to question so she could learn exact why they had invaded the NSS.

• I was really surprised that Seung Hee didn’t realise that it was Hyun Joon from his eyes. My theory is that when she saw him that is what she thought but that she spent so long looking for him alive, so long possibly seeing him in other men, and now when she has just finally accepted that he was dead, she thinks her eyes are playing games on her and she’s just once again indulging in wishful thinking.

• I really liked how the final scene was set up – with Hyun Joon learning that Seung Hee is alive when she pulls a gun on him, that he sees a guy planning to shoot her and that he’s forced to make a decision to shoot the other guy knowing that she will shot him and doing it without thought because it is Seung Hee and he has to save her. I loved it. I stated in my episode 9 thoughts that I was shipping him with Sun Hwa but this scene made me ship Seung Hee/Hyun Joon more than I ever have.

• I was very impressed with Mi Jung. That she refused to leave when Jung In urged her to, that she immediately worked to protect the NSS mainframe (and succeeded in it), that even after armed gunmen she had just watched kill her coworkers had entered the room she kept typing, that even with a gun pointed at her head she hit the enter button, and then when she again had a gun to her head she was stoic and didn’t say a word. I am seriously impressed. She has some nerves of steel and a hell of a lot of courage and loyalty to her job.

• I was so, so happy when Hyun Joon saved Jung In. I really thought TPTB would kill her and that would have made me ridiculously sad.

• I’m judging the NSS on their lack of security. Shouldn’t the drivers and the inside of the van have been checked before they even got into the garage? I also think that once the people in the control room saw that the building was under attack and that even their cell phones had cut out someone should have been sent to the roof or out a side door to try and contact the outside world and warn their colleagues. I am curious as to why the north team didn’t cut out the cameras when they took out the communication? From their point of view I don’t see any benefit to not taking them out. Also they seemed to get what they were coming for pretty quickly once they went into the vault so why wouldn’t they just start there?

• Why would Hyun Joon be walking around in the NSS without his face covered?
