The 100 Thought
Oct. 23rd, 2014 11:54 pmI've been thinking about the episode and it's suddenly hit me what it reminds me of: Night of the Comet. It's an 80's zombie b-movie that I kind of love.
In it a passing comet wipes out most of humanity by turning people into dust. Those who were in sealed steel/metal enclosed spaces survived unharmed while those who had only partial cover (not completely enclosed spaces) slowly turn into zombies. A secret government base was prepared as a just in case but they forgot to close the ventilation system. So in order to stave off their impending zombiehood while searching for a cure the scientist's gather unaffected people and drain them of their blood.
That is totally what Mount Weather is doing. The sun radiation kills them but the Grounders and Arc survivors are unaffected. In fact the Arc kids are even better off. We know the Grounders are terrified of them. Their president is super creepy. They are totally using the Grounder's blood in order to survive. And now they have the even better Arc kids to use.
I will love it so much if this ends up being true.
