Repercussions

• I loved the Clarke/Anya scenes. I loved how smart Clarke was, I liked Anya killing the guy to save him and I liked Anya saving Clarke from the Mountain Men. I also love how unimpressed and not willing to be allies Anya is. It makes sense. That doesn't mean I don't want them to eventually become BFF but for now I'm really looking forward to how things play out between them.

• Holy crap, Finn! Someone going completely off the deep end on this show isn't unexpected but I was not expecting it to be Finn. The torture of the Grounder was one thing but Finn straight-out murdering him is a whole different level. And him actually turning the gun on Bellamy was pretty shocking. It's an interesting turn for the character but I'm not sure how much I buy his feelings for Clarke as the motive behind it. I mean clearly that's what we're shown but I guess I've just never really bought into their deep love.

• Monty's worry for Clarke was great and I loved that he was unwilling to just accept what they told him about her at the end.

• I love the reveal that the bodies/people the Reapers are using for food are dropped to them from the Mountain Men as waste disposal. That's a delightfully creepy/horrifying reveal. And then at the end it's revealed there is even more going on - what is that red stuff that they're shooting into the Reapers? Did the Mountain Men somehow create them?

"You only got the job because Thelonious beat you to redemption." - Abby. Ouch, harsh. I loved it. Abby was awesome. I loved how unapologetic she was all episode. I loved how she dealt with the lashing. I loved the scene between her and Kane at the end.

• I was all ready to be pissed at Kane but I ended up really enjoying him. I was expecting a backslide but that's not what we got. I love his desire for them to be better people now. When he decided to have Abby lashed it was clear he really didn't want to do it, that it hurt him almost as much when it was happening and that it was something he deeply regretted. I think his decision to try diplomacy with the Grounder's was in large part because of what happened - he wanted to try a more peaceful/merciful method of leadership but instead fell back on the ways of the Ark which he then ended up deeply regretting. This then lead to him deciding to go with his gut with the Grounders. I like that.

• The Octavia/Indra storyline was good. I loved that Indra's initial reaction to Octavia showing up was to order her killed. Octavia getting away from them so easily didn't work. I loved that Indra knew all along that Octavia was following them. I loved Octavia playing bait, the ensuing battle and her saving Indra's life. The fact that Indra was taken down so quickly and easily by the Reaper less so. And I loved the last shot with Indra and Octavia's head nods of acknowledgement. New buddy team up, yes/yes?
