Episode 14

+ "Tell me the truth, it's not too late. Tell me the truth so I can forgive you." Oh, Kang Woo. Of course he'd forgive her if given the slightest chance. And then at the end he does appear to have forgiven her enough for the lying to want her back. I'm honestly starting to wonder if he seriously would defect for her. I mean he gave up his career for her. He forgives her over and over. So - I don't know.

+ Myung Wol has been annoyingly passive lately never more so than in this scene. He gives her a chance, he practically begs her to give him a reason to forgive her, and she just stands there silently. Telling him the whole truth was unlikely but she could have told him a part of the truth. Anything! Hell, she could have even made something up.

+ The confrontation between Hee Bok and Ok Soon added some needed lightness. I never doubted for a second that if it came down to it Ok Soon would win.

+ “The only thing she chose for herself was you. Even if everything about her was a lie, her feelings for you were real.” - Ryu I love how he always has her back. Him telling the parents not to tell her the truth about the books so as not to worry her was also kind of sweet. She messed up things for him and he was pissed but he still didn't lash out at her and did his best to protect her while moving on to plan B.

+ I really liked that Myung Wol turned to In Ah for help and that In Ah ended up being instrumental in saving the guys.

+ I loved the ending. Myung Wol to the rescue was great and it was nice to see her back to kicking ass. I also loved Myung Wol being decisive and making a choice. I love that she chose her mission and saving her spy parents over her love for Kang Woo. That was a great twist.

Episode 15

+ This was a great episode for Myung Wol/Kang Woo with both of them choosing the other - over her mission, over his need for revenge for his father. Of course this is this show so it's all as angsty and dysfunctional as possible. We finally have Kang Woo choosing to trust Myung Wol. He has the truth and it's probably worse then he ever imagined and yet it seems to have settled his doubt. He's committed now. I loved that Myung Wol tried to let him free twice before having to resort to pulling a gun on him.

- I loved the rooftop scene where Kang Woo tells her - "You’re just Han Myung-wol, the woman I love. And I’m just the Kang-woo who loves you. Isn’t that enough? If that doesn’t change, then South or North, doesn’t it not matter?" I liked his certainty that she loved him too.

+ I loved Kang Woo ordering Dae Kang to researching information about spies and that while seemingly going along with he North Koreans he's also planning a different future for them.

+ I'm choosing to believe that Myung Wol only fell asleep because she knew Ryu was there otherwise I'm going to have to start calling her Worst Spy Ever.

+ In Ah saving Ryu was great. I also loved the casual way he told her that he'd kidnapped her.

+ If there's one thing you can say about Chairman Joo it's that he does sincerely love his granddaughter. (At least one of them.)

+ Lovelorn indecisive Myung Wol is my least favourite version so I was enjoying her more this episode. I loved her in the beginning. I saw a lot more of spy Myung Wol then and realised I'd missed her. She's still lovelorn but I can deal with that. It's really the indecisiveness that's most annoying and this episode fell back into that again. But at the same time she also got to be more active with the direction things were going so... I just don't want anymore back and forth from her. She's chosen her love for Kang Woo, plus just let her commit to that. And maybe having decided that start being more more active in making it work - perhaps going to the police herself with the Four Books and making a deal? Just something.
