• ”John. I haven’t seen you since the divorce.” – Zoe. LOL. I loved seeing Zoe again. I love how she wanders into their lives and helps them out, flirts with John and then wanders away again. I loved that this time their flirting had intent to it and the episode ended with implied John/Zoe sexytimes in the very near future. I really enjoy them together.
• I really liked Finch giving Carter advice and reassuring her over the lie detector test. I liked his smile at Zoe when she arrived at the bar at the end, and just how pleased he was with himself and what they’d accomplished. I liked that he bought the hotel (of course he did) and then made Mira manager.
• Some lovely Reese/Fusco. It was nice to see him acting as backup for once. I loved John’s ”Never doubted you for a second.” and I’m sure it meant a lot to Fusco but I think John’s ”You can trust him.” to Mira about him meant even more. That John, who knows all of his mistakes and wrongdoing, would consider him trustworthy. Lionel needs this trust, he needs to know that they consider him a part of their group, that he can trust them in turn. I’m just really attached to him (all of them really) and this whole situation with HR and his separation and lying to Team Machine is making me all anxious about his future.
• I love Reese protecting Finch at all times. Even when Finch wasn’t there – Reese will never give up his identity.
• Poor Carter. We haven’t seen much of Cal or his relationship with Carter but I’ve liked what I’ve seen thus far and more importantly I want her to have that happiness. I’m really hoping that this thing with Cal turns out to not be something criminal.
• I love John’s snarkiness and subtle constant trolling. Like his response to Hersh demanding to know who he works for: ”That would be telling.”. LOL.
• Loved Fusco taking out two of the hit squad and then Carter shooting a third through a window.
