I enjoyed it.
+ Skye/Coulson were lovely. I love their hugs. Skye needs all the hugs.
+ The situation with Jemma worries me. Especially considering how seperated from everyone she spent the first half of the season. I find myself honestly concerned that when everything shakes out Jemma will side with the 'real' SHIELD which just might align with her views a little more. That'd make me sad.
+ I find Ward/Agent 33 interesting to watch. Their first scene was sweet, his advice to her - "You're the only one who can find yourself. was spot on, and I like how he's trying to help her. But then there's her extreme dependence on him and his general shadiness that kind of creeps me out. But I loved that last scene. The two of them as bad guy partners creating chaos is something I can totally get behind if they're more equals.
+ "I'm not insane." - Ward. LOL. He appears to be handling Skye shooting him a lot better than I was expecting though I don't buy him backing off from his feelings for her at all. Also his explanation to Agent 33 about his visit to his family and 'expressing his feelings' has me doubting his sanity.
+ I actually really loved Ward this ep. I can not get a handle on his motivations or what the hell he's thinking/planning at all but I'm enjoying him. He's definitely embracing his inner grey (dark, dark charcoal grey) so... is he over trying to get back in SHIELD's good graces? Has he decided to embrace being a bad guy? He seems to be having fun at least.
+ May's voice with Skye's face was so weird.
+ So 'real SHIELD' - how does that work exactly? Who exactly created this version - since it wasn't Fury (former leader of SHIELD) and the US government doesn't seem to be in the know (Talbot doesn't know about them) - the World Security Council? Where did they get their giant ship and all their toys?
+ They have a point about keeping secrets and operating in the shadows but it's kind of undermined by the fact that they're doing the exact same thing! If they really were the 'real' and sanction re-built SHIELD and all for transparency then why haven't they come out in public?
+ I'd put Isabelle's death more on Lance than Coulson. She probably would have lived if Lance hadn't bugged out with her.
+ Also "in his pursuit of alien tech"? So what should Coulson do when he knows that Hydra is after a powerful alien weapon? Let them have it? Yeah, that seems like a great idea. What the hell have they been doing to stop Hydra?
