It was okay.
+ I liked the Red/Liz scenes. Him gifting her a bottle of wine she made with her dad as a child was really lovely. Then him looking at photos of her from previous birthdays was sad. Did we know before this that he kept such close tabs on her while she was growing up?
I loved Red actually being honest with Liz for once when she called him out on keeping secrets. This is a positive change. Plus he threw in a little teaching in: “I needed the man to be in my debt and now he is. A very dark cloud is approaching and Roger Hobbs will be a very good friend at exactly the moment we need him to be.” I love the 'we'. I kind of want Liz to become Red's protege.
+ "I am a puppet of some high functioning sociopath." - Liz.
+ I liked Ressler and Liz at the end. It was a really sweet gesture on his part. It was nice to see them both, especially Liz, looking so happy for once.
+ It bothers me that The Major manage to survive. How the hell did that happen? I can't see the German's letting him go or Tom saving him. It makes no sense.
+ I liked the last minute of the episode and Tom turning to Liz for help. By lurking in the dark in her house and scaring her when she walks in, heh. It was kind of hot, tbh.
