• So is Victoria dead or not? I have a very hard time believing that she would go out like this. Victoria is a fighter and schemer till the end. But at the same time her blowing herself up in Grayson Manor [the symbol of her former power, and of Emily's success at destroying it] and framing Emily for her murder at the same time is actually the kind of thing I could see a Victoria pushed to the very edge and with no more options might do. I think she'd find it poetic.

But I don't think she did. I think it's a set up. If Victoria would love Emily going down for her murder she'd love it even more if she was alive to see it happen. What's making me sure that Victoria isn't dead is her behaviour this episode. I honestly thought I'd missed an episode when I first started watching it. Victoria defeated, uncertain and anxious? Victoria hesitant about whether it was Emily who attacked her ("i may have been mistaken") - wha? Victoria having a complete breakdown in public over the loss of the drive? WTF? That's pretty much what I was doing every time she was on screen. It was bizarre and made no sense. Until the end that is. I'm pretty sure now that it was all an act as part of her set up of Emily.

"There’s always going to be a Nolan and Emily." Nolan/Emily were wonderful. I wish I could import them to another show because they are the best. Their make-up scene was perfect and perfectly them. Emily putting Nolan's needs/future first and making him go to the fundraiser was very much something I wanted more of.

Nolan: I hate that I failed you. I don’t want to lose you.
Emily: You’re not going to lose me. We’re a team. We’re going to get through this because that’s what we do.

• I'm still angry about where the show took Louise and what they did to the fun Louise/Nolan relationship. I think her aggressive defence of Victoria and turning on Nolan might have worked if they hadn't had a section of episodes where she was basically all about cheerleading Nolan/Victoria Who? Her obsession with Victoria carrying through every episode and her breakup with Nolan being less about feeling dissed/lied to by him and more based on her need to have Victoria in her life might have made it easier. As it is - ugh.

• I'm not entirely feeling Tony/Nolan but I do love how he didn't blame Nolan, how supportive he is and understanding. I want Nolan happy so I hope this relationship lasts.

"Why do we still throw them? No, no, no, seriously. No learning curve." - Nolan. Hee.

• The Nolan/Jack scene was great.

• I don't really see why Emily had to go after Jack right then. He wasn't leaving the planet and she has the money to go after him whenever she felt ready. Give her some time to figure herself out!
