Person of Interest 3x06 & 3x07 Thoughts

iaria3x06 'Mors Praematura'
This as a very fun episode. I loved it.
+ I loved the Machine setting the two teams on different tasks and then the two of them coming together at the end. That whole end sequence was excellent. I really loved Reese and Shaw passing each other on their ways to save their respective people.
+ Root! It's been far too long since we last saw her and I hope she never goes away again because I've missed her. She just has such a manic energy and glee at everything around her and adds so much fun to the show.
+ Root/Shaw were delightful and I'm fully aboard that ship. That first scene in the car was electric. I loved Root's giant grin when she saw Shaw in the tunnels.
+ There was some really lovely Reese/Finch this ep even though they didn't interact physically much. Reese telling Finch that he's there "if you need me" and then randomly doing just that by saving Finch just in the nick of time was great. Then there was this completely delightful line: "Finch you know I don't like you heading into danger without me." - Reese. ♥
+ I loved Finch's worry for Shaw and him sending Reese after her because she is important too.
+ Shaw's fridge, lol.
+ "What's worse than burying an old friend?" - Laskey. Killing one, clearly. I wonder if this is leading to Laskey working with Carter willingly to bring down HR.
3x07 'The Prefect Mark'
+ I loved the Reese/Carter car scene. Their little fist bump was adorable!
+ It was nice to see Elias again. I love how he appears to genuinely like and respect Carter. In this episode it felt like he was even trying to mentor her a bit. I hope this means we're going to be seeing more of him.
+ I loved Carter calling Fusco as backup. It's been awhile since we've seen the two of them working together. I loved her criticising his placement of the fake blood.
+ I loved Shaw's little smile after Carter punches out Laskey and says that she's punched a lot of guys too. She totally wants to be BFFs with her.
+ I liked Reese's casual "Tierny" and head nod of acknowledgement before knocking him out with the stool. It was kind of hilarious. Like Tierny is the Big Bad's hapless minion that Reese constantly runs into and defeats and at this point they're on a first name basis and a step away from Friday nights at the bar. Tierny didn't even try and fight or run and seemed more resigned than anything. Too bad he died because now I'm kind of loving this idea.
+ I was not expecting Laskey to die this quickly. I was expecting him to play more of a role in things.
