• I started the series knowing that Carter is going to die this season but I don't know when so this episode had me on the edge of my seat. I kept waiting for it to get her killed. I wanted to shake Joss and tell her to work with the others! They're her friends, her team even. She didn't have to do it alone and her insistence on shutting everyone else out was really aggravating me. Especially when she seemed half resigned to the fact that it would get her killed. So the reveal that she took her son's advice and realised that she wasn't alone and finally called in the others was a great moment.
• Despite being annoyed by Carter going all lone avenger I loved how utterly competent she was while doing it. The way she's gathered so much evidence on the entire organisation, her setting up the two sides against each other, her use of Elias to further her goals and her playing the Russian - it was all great. My favourite moment though was definitely Joss with the sniper rifle taking a couple shots at Quinn.
• I really liked the Carter/Fusco and Carter/Shaw scenes. I've missed the partnership between the former so it was nice to see them have an actual moment. I really liked Fusco bringing up his HR past and thinking she didn't trust while Carter has simply been trying to protect him. With the latter case I love how much Shaw likes Carter and clearly respects her and wants to be friends. The fact that she brought Carter the weapons without needing an explanation and didn't tell the others because Carter asked, her off to help, her grin when she saw video of Carter and the grenade launcher - it all equals potential BFFs to me!
• I wish the show had developed Carter/Beecher more because as her main motive for her zeal in taking down HR it doesn't work entirely for me.
