I wasn't really sold for the first couple episodes but I got won over by Dutch and Johnny. I love them individually and together a lot. The show is worth watching just for them but I ended up intrigued by the world building and the mystery behind Dutch's past and Khlyen. I also really like the reoccurring characters.

- Dutch is so badass and as the series goes on you get to see more and more of how badass Johnny is too as well as both their vulnerabilities. The very heart of the show for me is their relationship with each other. Their devotion and loyalty to each other is wonderful to watch. I adore them. John would pick Dutch over his brother, Dutch would put her job and life at risk to help John, they're a perfect team. I loved this line (among many others): "If you want to fight, I got your back. If you want to run, I call shotgun."

- I love Khlyen. I find him and his relationship with Dutch fascinating and I want him to never die. In fact I have my fingers crossed for Dutch being forced to work together with him, learning more of her past and ending up uneasy allies with him.

- Delle Seyah is great. I love her attitude. I'm also shipping her and Dutch, especially after the finale.

- Pree is great. He's a genuinely caring and lovely person and I loved him from the start. Fancy and Pawter took a little more time but both won me over when we got to know them a little more. Pawter in particular I ended to season pretty attached to. I loved her interactions with John in the last couple episodes. I loved Fancy designating himself the group's necessary asshole and I hope he's going to be okay. Alvis also won me over by the end.

- I liked the mentor-like relationship between Dutch and Bellus. I loved Bellus punching D'Arvin in he stomach after the brain-control incident. Her protectiveness towards Dutch is lovely.

- I love that Lucy clearly does have a favourite and is willing to break protocol and move beyond her programming (calling a doctor) in order to save Johnny. I hope this gets explored more.

- The weak link for me is D'Avin but even then I still like him and I enjoy him as part of the team. The thing I mainly dislike him is actually the D'Avin/Dutch romance. I am so not feeling it. I found the emphasis on D'Avin/Dutch in the last couple episodes really annoying. I'd probably like him a lot more if it was dropped.

Are you me? :) That's pretty much how it went for me with Killjoys. Great show.

Really, really want there to be fanfic, and also more character work on her in Season Two itself.

I hear you. It's partially that I love Dutch/Johnny, but the other part is that I'm simply not interested in the character sketch D'avin represents. I occasionally like soldier boys (John Sheppard) even in terrible shows, but it's rare, and the elder Jaqobi isn't special enough.
