5x05 'A Novel Approach'
• The scenes of Stiles post-Donovon's death were really well done.
• Scott/Kira are cute. I loved him picking her up and carrying her out of Eichen House even as she was continuously electrocuting him and her reaching for his hand afterward. That said, Scott not telling her what he saw with his Alpha vision was very irritating. This is not the sort of thing you keep to yourself and she deserves to know more than anyone.
• So what is up with Kira? I thought the kitsune part of her was - a part of her. It's who she is. But the kitsune force surrounding her knew something she didn't so... it's separate entity?
5x06 'Required Reading'
• Scott doesn't trust Kira?! WTF, Scott. Why the hell isn't he telling Kira about what is happening to her? Or turning to her centuries old Kitsune mother? Or doing both, which is what he should damn well be doing. This is not something you keep to yourself. It makes no sense and is unbelievably stupid.
• What is up with Scott's returning asthma? Is this similar to Derek's loss of power?
• I loved the Malia/Theo gym scene. I love him trying to show off his body/strength and her not caring at all. I really loved that she was so casually stronger than him and he couldn't move the weights, even using all his strength, until she let go. I think the best part was that she didn't even really seem to notice.
• Stiles flashback memory was really sad.
• The Mason/Kira scene was nice. I loved Mason researching kitsunes because he'd met one. That's how people should react! His curiosity is great. They clearly need to bring him into the inner circle immediately.
5x07 'Strange Frequencies'
• Hayden's reaction to Liam werewolf growling in her face - scream, punch him, in the face, take off in her car - was hilarious and really sensible.
• "Would you like to see how the keycard works?" His grin was adorable. I loved Sheriff/Melissa them sleuthing together and figuring out the connection between all the chimera kids.
• The hallucinations were terrible to watch especially Lydia's. Ugh.
• It's interesting to see a little more of Stiles dark side re: his feeling "good" after Donovan's death. I think Stiles should be a bit more worried about that then about losing Scott's friendship (which under the circumstances doesn't seem likely.)
• I actually rather enjoyed the Theo/Stiles scenes surprisingly.
• I'm glad that Kira's parents noticed something wrong with her too and stepped up to figure out what was going on.
