• I loved the end:

Shaw: So we push back.
Finch: Indeed. And we do it together.
Reese: Glad to know that you have our backs Harold.

And then the finale shot being on Finch in front of his computers bookended by Reese and Shaw. This made me so happy. I'm so glad that Finch has re-committed to the mission.

• I find it hard to believe that he doesn't have access to some of his money. He had so many different identities and his money was so diversified it just doesn't make sense to me. Samaritan is hunting Harold Finch but that doesn't mean he has connected him to all his identities. Even if Harold didn't want to take the chance he spent so much of his life on the run and hiding, and was so paranoid I can't believe that he wouldn't have tons of unconnected caches, safe houses, accounts, etc.

• There were a lot of little moments I liked, including:

+ Reese's smile when Finch says that Samaritan underestimated the Machine.

+ Root pointing out that the Machine is doing exactly what Finch taught her - to let humans act according to their free will. And then Finch letting Claire go at the end because it was her choice [though there wasn't much he realistically could do.] I hope we see again in some future episode and Finch's short time with her here proves to be instrumental in her ending up choosing them over Samaritan.

+ Finch's reaction to Root's having a man in her trunk and her glee at her up-coming trip. Also "backseat privileges", heh. Really the entirety of the scene was excellent.

+ Fusco's glee at dropping paperwork on Reese.

+ Reese taking out the Silverpool agents was excellent. I loved how that was shot. Him arresting the one while in view of street cameras, then swiftly (and mostly silently) taking out the other two in his more usual way.

+ Reese arresting Finch, his snarky "I'm only maintaining my cover" reasoning and Finch's expression, lol.

+ Reese inviting Finch out for a 'late night snack' and Finch going and waiting even though it doesn't really work for their covers. He even orders for Reese. I wonder if this is a common occurrence. Hmm, now I'm in love with the idea that to keep their cover while still being able to see each other whenever they want Det. Riley ends up dating Professor Whistler.

+ This exchange amused me so much:

Finch: Don't let your frustration with me effect your judgment.
Shaw: He's going to let his frustration with you effect his judgment.
[Reese: ignores Finch]

+ Fusco breaking one of the codes with his musical knowledge.

+ Shaw acting as Finch's 'muscle' as he stood in the shadows and interrogated the guy.

+ The new batcave! I miss the library but the subway car is pretty cool.
