Doctor Who Prologue and 9x01 Thoughts

I hadn't been very excited about the new season but I really enjoyed this and it reminded me of why I love the show.
• I hope that Ohila shows up again in the new season because I love her and her interactions with the Doctor.
• "Why do you always assume I'm lying?" - Doctor
"It saves time." - Ohila
LOL. I love characters who know the Doctor so well and who just roll the eyes and don't enable his shenanigans. I love the way she just cuts though all his attempts at evasions.
• "An enemy is just a friend you don't really know yet. Sorry is that me being cynical again?" - Doctor. Aw, that last point felt a little pointed. It appears that he's feeling a little sore about that. Also I wonder what the first sentence means for the Master since that's where my first thought went. Except the Doctor really does know her.
• "Aren't we friends, Doctor?" - Ohila
"That's different. I don't like you." - Doctor

9x01 'The Magician's Apprentice'
It was okay but not an episode I'll be re-watching.
• I'm not super enthused about the whole Davros/Dalek overarching plot this season.
• The best part was definitely the return of the Master. I loved everything about her. I knew she was returning but I wasn't expecting it so soon nor the rather casual way they did it. I liked that they just had her go 'yup, alive, blah blah, moving on'.
I loved all of Missy's talk about the Doctor and her relationship with him -- her showing her hand (ie, being alive) and teaming up with Clara because she's worried about the Doctor; her being sent the Doctor's will because she's his 'closest friend' [and her offended reaction when Clara touched it, lol]; "Since always" she has cared about the Doctor; them trying to kill each other is "sort of our texting"; her being offended that the Doctor considers Davros his arch enemy; her trying so hard to convince him not to go to Davros and then volenteering to accompany him; "Traps are my flirting." [yes Master, we know you've been flirting with the Doctor forever].
That little exchange as the Doctor was led away with him hinting "gravity" and her exsasperated "I knoooowww" was fun.
• "Death is for other people, dear." - Missy.
• I also liked the Missy/Clara interactions. Missy calling Clara a puppy, Clara getting in her face when she started killing people, Clara not reacting with Missy brought up Danny, Clara being stuck on how Missy and the Doctor could be friends - it was all pretty good.
• I liked Clara working with UNIT. I also liked that she's still a teacher.
• The Doctor in the medieval ring with the tank and guitar was very meh.
