The Djinn
I loved the Aram/Liz/Red scene. I loved how Aram's first thought at Red being in his apartment was that Liz was in trouble and how worried he was for her. I loved their reunion - they were both so happy to see each other, his grin, the hug, Red's fond smile, her happiness, him complimenting her new look. I loved it all.
I also loved that Aram was perfectly fine with helping Red/Liz but told them right up front that he was going to have to tell Ressler about their visit. That is just so - Aram. I love him.
Liz scoffing at Red's offered arm (and fantasy of escaping the police with two beautiful women on his arms) amused me a lot.
I loved the montage of Tom coming up with his new undercover persona. It was really cool. And I buy Tom as an undercover spy more than I ever have.
I like the team up of Tom and Harold. I feel like they're both characters at loose ends in the show and by putting them together to hunt down Karakut they're suddenly tied back into the main plot in an interesting way.
It's too bad that Mr. Vargas turned out to be a traitor because I rather liked him. The question is why did he betray Red? Was he working for Solomon all along, did he turn because of the torture (believable, but once he's escaped with Dembe why continue to work for Solomon?), or did he have someone he loved kidnapped? Regardless of which it is you'd think he's know better than to go against Red and he shot Dembe to boot. He is so dead regardless of the reason.
Still no mention of the fact that Samar was essentially working for Red last season. Where is her loyalty now? Is she still an information mole for Red? She was pretty harsh on Liz this episode but I feel like that's because Liz's situation is hitting a little close for her.
So I guess Alice is the newest person Red is adding to his network of contacts? I wonder what use he's going to put her to later.
I kind of love how very obviously not pleased Red was when Tom was brought up.
What happened to Nasim was truely awful. I can't blame her at all for wanting revenge.
