Agents of Shield 3x09 & 3x10 Thoughts

iaria3x09 'Closure'
+ The Mack/Skye fist-bump was adorable. Favourite moment. I love how she pushed and supported him this ep.
+ I liked Coulson making Mack temporary Director and I loved his reasoning for why he chose Mack. It was a smart choice. I like that at first Mack was very uncertain in the role and his speech at the end was good.
+ Whatever happened to that whole Council thing they established at the end of last season that Coulson was supposed to be answering to? He was clearly compromised by his emotions so shouldn't they have stepped in?
+ I'm annoyed Ros was killed off so quickly. I liked her. She and Coulson were really fun. Plus learning that she tells Banks everything and that they were really close made me want to know more about their relationship. And then they died. Sigh.
+ The combination of Rosalind being murdered by Ward to hurt Coulson + Jemma being tortured to get Fitz to talk + the rest of our AOS women not actually doing much this episode was not a great combination.
+ I loved Jemma's defiance.
+ Why the hell was there no ceiling in the portal room? That made no sense? Why didn't one of those guns shoot him out of the air? He could have been a bomb! Really not impressed with Hydra here.
3x10 'Maveth'
+ And Ward is dead. TBH, I'm fine with it at this point. I really enjoyed evil Ward but more so last season when he was more of a charcoal character then evil-evil. I wish they'd kept him on a more anti-hero or secondary villain/thorn in the side path instead. Oh well. What was up with all that talk to Coulson at the end? That was a random turn. I am glad that we get to keep Brett Dalton around for awhile longer. I wonder if any of his personality is still going to be around?
+ Jemma/Skye hug! Sure it was only a split second scene but it was still my favourite moment. I miss them.
+ I loved Daisy refusing to leave Mack because she's his partner.
+ Mack's "Are we supposed to wait here or...?" after Bobbi left to kick Hydra ass amused me.
+ The Coulson/May hug was nice.
+ Jemma freeing herself and escaping like a badass was great. Her "Well I can't say I blame her after how you've misbehaved." to Andrew made me smile. I hope we get some emotional fallout over her letting Andrew out and then him murdering all those Inhumans.
+ This was a pretty good first outing for Daisy's Secret Warriors. I loved Joey saving her from the bullets and his reaction after. He's cute and the show needs someone new to this world. Also this was great:

+ "Just confirming it's really us. It is. You're welcome." - Lance. Heh.
+ Ward calling the Inhumans an "alien contagion" was interesting. That's a different angle.
+ I loved Coulson/Rosalind but the show really didn't give us enough build-up of them for Coulson's murderous grief to really resonate.
