This episode was so aggravating that I just had to write it down.

+ God damn with the blaming of Duke for what happened. He was literally used as an unwilling bomb by Mara. He had no choice in it. He was even planning to banish himself into the Void in order to protect everyone. How the hell is any of this his fault? This is especially galling this episode because we also get Dwight and Vince excusing away Dave's murders because he was possessed by the Croatoan. Which, fair enough, it's not his fault. We have the barn brought up again which, oh yeah, Nathan destroyed. He did get blame for that but it was also a choice. Unlike Duke. Most aggravating of all we get Audrey's anger at Duke and her blaming him. WTF?! Sure, at the end she realises and says that it wasn't his fault but that doesn't erase what she said before.

+ I simply don't buy Audrey's anger and how it manifested. Audrey lashing out at him and telling him he doesn't care? WTF? This in no way matches what Audrey's relationship to Duke is even if the show has been doing it's best to ignore/downplay it. She damn well knows how much Duke cares. She's always known that. It's all the more stupid because 20 minutes later she comes to the realisation that she's wrong because - Lisa's lashing out or him being in danger? It rang false to me. It might have worked better if she had said "You and I are nothing alike. I care about people." and then had a shocked 'I didn't mean that' reaction to her own words.

+ Why the hell does it have to be Nathan to go into the Void instead of anyone else? No seriously, why him? There’s nothing special about him with regards to the Void, no knowledge he knows that no one else does and as a human it’s far more dangerous to him than Audrey. What’s the point of Duke’s vision if they’re just going to ignore it? They both clearly think there’s some potential truth in it. Audrey or Duke, or hell even, Dwight could just as easily have gone.

+ Vince has been so dumb lately. First with going along with Dave in 1983, now with him and Dwight (!) taking Dave along to meet the Troubled guy who could maybe help him.

+ I'm so unhappy with where this show went with Audrey. She still feels so passive compared to early!Audrey.

+ Considering how afraid William was of the Void it was kind of disappointing.

+ "Yeah, when you needed me. Because you and Nathan always need me." Oh, Duke. He totally thinks that they don't love him for himself but only want him around simply because he's useful to them. Which is dumb and untrue but I can kind of see how he got to this point.

+ On the positive: Duke/Nathan hug was lovely as was Nathan reassuring Duke about Audrey, seeing William again was fun, Duke being his wonderful self and comforting Lisa was nice.
