• I loved everything about the opening scene.
- Finch buying Shaw her favourite sandwich as a peace offering. How super serious and tense he was about getting it exactly right.
- Finch's expression when he came in to find Shaw handcuffed and Root in the bear costume. LOL. Shaw's homicidal expression amused me too.
- Root rushing in to unwrapping the sandwich for her and Shaw grabbing it away from her and eating it like a starving animal.
- "I wouldn't want anything to happen [glare at Root] to the dog" - Shaw.
- "Especially since we know it would be impossible to keep you locked up... against your will anyway." - Root. ♥ Flirty Root/Shaw is the best.
• Shaw/Root as a whole were pretty great. I loved how anxious/upset Shaw was about Root meeting Samaritan's analogue interface alone, that she left to help Root and how worried Root was when she learned that Shaw had left the train headquarters.
• The church scene was great.
• "Our moral system will never be mirrored by theirs for the simple reason that they're not human." - Finch. Uh... This would maybe work better if he wasn't saying this to Shaw and Root.
• "I miss the sound of your voice. How's your day going, honey." - Fusco. LOL. And then his little grin! He was so amused with himself. Adorable. I was really happy when Reese gave Fusco his own Numbers at the end.
• I loved the Root/Lambert scenes. Their first one in particular was kind of hot. I just really love how casual and amused he was the entire time. It actually reminded me of Root. He was clearly having a very good time.
• I think this is the most I've liked Martine. Or for that matter Lambert. I felt like this episode gave both of them a lot more personality. I really like that little scene with them where he bugs her about cleaning her guns again and she informs him that all her hobbies involving guns. I also enjoyed her snarkiness with Root and her finger gun shot goodbye to Reese amused me.
• I really liked the performance of the actor playing young!Greer but the flashbacks didn't really help me that much in understanding him.
