Person of Interest 4x14 & 4x16 Thoughts

iaria4x14 'Guilty'
+ I loved the opening and closing scenes with Finch and Reese. Their melancholy over it once again just being them was was lovely. Their communicating via morse code was also great.
+ It was so great to see Zoe again. She's got such a great chemistry with both Reese and Finch.
+ Reese had some lovely expressions, including:
- Reese's sad face after hangin up on Fusco
- Reese's little smile at Zoe after she impressed him
- Reese's smile after Fusco tells him off
+ I lol'd at Finch's "Now that's just cheating." and look at Zoe, as if he was tattling to her.
+ "You're interested in someone." ...uh. ?? This kind of came out of no where? How can this show do so well with Reese/Zoe but so terrible in setting up Reese/Iris? (And Reese/Carter as a romantic relationship for that matter.)
+ "I'm fine with that. You don't get to decide what or who I'm willing to die for. I made my choice a long time ago." - Fusco. ♥
+ "He's like a fungus." - Reese. Awww. The Reese/Fusco bits were great.
4x16 'Blunt'
+ The Root/Finch scene was great especially their exchange about Shaw. Their grief over her loss is still so fresh - Finch saying "everything that happened" to try and spare Root and Root taking offence (her expression when she said 'is that her name now?'). I also liked Root bring Finch a new tea to try. It's a small thing but a lovely little relationship moment.
+ I loved this exchange -
"Detective Riley and I are partners." - Finch
"I didn't see that coming." - Harper
+ Finch stealing Harper's ring at the same time she stole his watch - lol. I have to admit to be a bit surprised and pretty impressed. Taking a ring from someone's finger without them realising, especially someone like Harper, can't be easy.
+ I hope we see Harper again. I really liked her and her interactions with the team were great. The way they left it open at the end [that ring definitely means something to her] + Root bringing up recruiting people earlier even has me a little hopeful that she could join the team. I think she could be a good fit. I really hope that this isn't a prelude to her joining Dominic. The team has lost enough, let them win one once and awhile.
+ Reese's amusement at Finch complaining about college students and at Finch avoiding answering how he knows how to get marijuana was nice.
+ Reese's latest name: "captain larconic", hee.
+ I loved when Fusco grabs Harper outside the club and she whips out her telescopic baton he just casually brings out his taser all exasperated 'really?'
