• Bellamy, Bellamy, Bellamy. What are you doing? At the start of the episode my first thought was that Clarke seriously needed to get her ass home because Bellamy joined a crazy cult and he needs someone sane to follow again. Instead after finally meeting and talking to Clarke he's chosen to double down on his frankly really terrible recent life choices. I am glad that we got a look into his head. I'm still not completely sold on his choices and it definitely feels like a regression but I appreciate that they showed us it anyway.

To his credit he did speak up against killing the wounded and he did save Indra. But he still took part in murdering 300 people! They were allies and innocent and it was a slaughter. He locked up sick Grounders + Lincoln in an internment camp. He told his sister to "stop playing Grounder"! It's like every time he gets the slightest bit of push back it just makes him more stubbornly committed to his path. Which actually I can understand because he went so far over the line in killing Indra's army that to accept that he made the wrong choice, that this isn't best for everyone, would be pretty soul destroying. He's obviously still dealing with very deep wounds left over from Mount Weather, from all the death that has been a part of his life for the past 6 months (or however long).

• That Clarke/Bellamy scene was amazing and I loved everything about it. I'm sad about their current split because they are an amazing team, their strengths and weaknesses compliment each other perfectly, and if they worked on this together they could fix things. But at the same time they've been working together for so long I'm interested to see where it goes with them on opposite sides. So a point by point look at it:

+ "The mighty Wanheda. Who chose the grounders over her own people. Who turned her back on us when we came to rescue her. Now you want to talk." Oh wow that is some bitterness. I mean he was clearly unhappy when he left her in the tower but I didn't realise that he was so bitter. Or that he would misread the situation so badly that he would see Clarke staying as a declaration of her loyalty.

I think this is helping me in reconcilling his turning against Clarke and his choice to follow Pike a little. It feels like a piece of the puzzle. He was unhappy and felt abandoned by Clarke when she left but he was still loyal to her and because of that he could accept the necessity of irradiating Mount Weather. But Clarke rejecting his rescue - after how far he went to save her, both in tracking her down and in abandoning his Mount Weather post (which had disastrous consequences) - and now he feels betrayed by Clarke. Not just abandoned but rejected.

+ "Let her try." I loved the expression on Clarke's face after he says this. She's just so disbelieving. I was personally rolling my eyes because he's been so infected by Pike's unwarranted overconfidence in Skaikru's abilities.

+ "We've been at war since we landed." His expression as he says this, oh Bellamy. I wonder if this is how he's always felt - that he's let Clarke/Octavia/Kane's opinion and leadership push him in the direction of acceptance/co-existence but he's never really agreed - or if he's clinging to justifications so he can live with his actions.

+ "You left me. You left everyone." Oh Bellamy. We know which sentence is the important one there.

+ "Enough Clarke. You are not in charge here and that's a good thing because people die when you're in charge." I was torn between 'oh no you didn't' and 'goddamn ouch'. He just went right for the jugular there.

+ I really liked that Bellamy brought up Clarke letting TonDC be bombed and that she was willing to let Octavia die. It should have been a bigger deal but was never really dealt with... and he immediately moves on this time as well but at least we know it hasn't been forgotten. That in fact it's been one of the things he's been letting silently fester away.

+ '..and forced us to kill everyone who helped us. People who trusted me!' - as opposed to not getting Lexa's help and letting Mount Weather drain and murder all the surviving 100? I mean what were the other options here? I didn't see him coming up with any plans in that control room.

+ "I'm sorry. (pause) I'm sorry for leaving. But I knew I could because they had you." I loved Bellamy getting all teary-eyed and emotional. I love that he can't stand to see her cry. I loved him going over and taking her hands in his and them holding on to each other.

• I'm really worried for Lexa right now. Her decision is not going to make her popular and it following so soon after the attempted coup has to put her in a very perilous position. I'm basically constantly worried she's about to be killed. [Please don't get killed over this.] The other option, which could be interesting, is her being deposed as Commander. The Ambassadors literally just tried it and are clearly unhappy with her, recent events with the Skaikru make me doubt Clarke is going to be accepted as an ambassador, and Roan is a wild card who could believably go either way.

• Not retaliating by declaring war on Arkadia and going for blood is actually something I approve of. Clarke wasn't wrong in what she said in her appeal to Lexa. And I do buy this as something Lexa would do even beyond her feelings for Clarke and her promise. She was introduced as a visionary leader who brought the 12 clans together. I can see her being willing to break the cycle of blood. But they also can't let it go without any repercussions can they? 300 people were murdered. There has to be some consequences.

• Those first two happy scenes between Clarke and Lexa were lovely. I love how they keep looking at each other and smiling. Smiling as if they can't help themselves. It was adorable. I loved them giving each other for bringing justice and Lexa's "We bring them peace."

• Okay, I really loved Clarke shocking Bellamy. I loved Octavia's little flinch back and then her urging Clarke to hurry.

"I was born for this." Oh Octavia. I feel for her. I love that she's going to be working with Kane and presumably Indra. I really liked that small moment of her going to Indra's side when she arrived at the tent.

• I'm not really happy with how sidelined Raven has been. I mean Pike took over Arkadia with his anti-Grounder rhetoric, and just went out and murder 300 of them and she has zero interest or opinion on any of it? What? I was so disappointed when Clarke was snuck into Arkadia and Raven was in no way involved. No even seemed to consider telling her. She's so bizarrely separated from what's happening around her right now. I suppose this could be her way of dealing with everything - she feels useless, frustrated, alone and so she pushes everyone away and isolates herself while simmering in anger and hurt - but they could have showed that better. Particularly by having the others approach her to get her involved and having her reject them.

• I actually totally didn't mind Jaha here. I enjoyed him reunions with Abby and Kane and him skillfully playing Pike was pretty great.

• I'm really excited that it looks like Murphy is on his way to Polis and presumably soon to be reunited with Clarke and brought back into the main storyline. So much has changed for both of them that I can't wait to see how they interact now. I kind of really want a hug.

• I guess I have to stop giving Jasper shit over how he's dealing with his grief considering Bellamy's reaction (...nah.) Honestly the only real comparison here is Finn but Bellamy has one upped him by magnitudes. Why are the guys on this show so terrible at dealing?! I mean none of the girls are handling it flawlessly but they are so much less annoying about it. Okay, Monty's dealing really well too but it's Monty so...

• On the one hand, I kind of like that Octavia is still mad at Clarke and doesn't really like her. I think there's a lot of jealousy wrapped up in it too. But on the other, I just want them to be friends like it was hinted they could be at the beginning. I loved Octavia helping Clarke this ep.

• I really want to know what the 100 (well, 49~) think about what's happening. I loved Miller sneaking Lincoln medicine from Abby (yay!) and showing clearly what side he's on (the right one of course). But what of Monty, Jasper, Monroe and Harper? Are Harper and Monroe still comfortable following Bellamy's lead? Is Monty willing to trust his mother or is at all torn? [After Mount Weather I'd think no.] Everything is happening so fast, and there is so much stuff to deal with, but I really hope the show gives us a look at what's happening with these guys.

• Pike is so dumb. 'This land is ours'?? They'll just kill every Grounder who tries to stop them? So delusional. I'm kind of sad that Clarke convinced Lexa not to immediately retaliate because Pike isn't going to take from that that he was wrong about the Grounders, he's going to come to the conclusion that he's scared them, that his actions were right and supportable and he should just continue the path he's started them on.
