Agents of Shield 3x12 - 3x16 Thoughts

iaria3x12 'The Inside Man'
+ "I hate to be a buzzkill but this is a gun free zone so I'm going to have to take that off you." - Hunter. lol.
+ This exchange amused me a lot:
Hunter: [Reveals weapons.]
Bobbi: I love you.
May: I don’t hate you quite as much.
3x13 'Parting Shot'
+ The spy's goodbye was really lovely. I particularly loved Mack staying longer and having a private goodbye with Bobbi and Lance.
+ I loved all the Daisy/Bobbi moments.
+ I liked May's smile when Lance's idea for a distraction was her hitting people.
+ Lance and the mushrooms was fun.
+ All the actual plot stuff didn't work for me. The Russian prime minister wants fall guys for what happened but is fine with just SHIELD disavowing Bobbi and Hunter and agrees to let them go? Even though SHIELD doesn't exist? Why is that enough to let them walk even though they're accused of killing 3 important government people (one in front of multiple people)? Why was the American president even there?
3x14 'Watchdogs'
+ I spent a lot of time going WTF at Daisy. Her being so gungho to threaten a random person to find the Watchdogs was weird. It wasn't even certain that he would know anything. Ranting/cheerleading crap on the internet does not equal doing anything in real life so she got lucky. Then ignoring orders to retreat which almost got Fitz killed. I hope that actually causes her to rethink how she's acting.
+ I liked Mack's relationship with his brother. I loved his "It's not about how they act, it's about how we respond." Also: axe-gun!
+ I really liked that Jemma is actually having a hard time dealing with the fact that she let Lash out and he killed a bunch of people. I wished we'd seen more hints of that in the past couple episodes. I like that she's turned that towards trying to get better at protecting herself. I really liked Jemma/May and them now working together to hunt Lash down.
3x15 'Spacetime'
+ "For god's sake, Skye, come home. ... Just come home safe." - Coulson. Lovely little Coulson/Skye moment. I feel like we haven't had a lot of them this season.
+ I liked that last scene between Daisy and Charlie and Daisy promising to protect Charlie's daughter. I really liked him.
+ So clearly Lash's purpose is to actually hunt Hive, right?
+ Ward/Hive is looking good. That coat and all black ensemble is a win.
3x16 'Paradise Lost'
+ I love that Hive looks exactly like the Hydra symbol.
+ The May/Giyera fight was great.
+ "I knew it would come back to haunt me I just didn't think it would come back to haunt me." - Coulson. Heh. I like that Coulson is struggling with killing Ward and has realised that it was in fact the wrong thing to do.
+ I felt bad for Malick even though he is a terrible, terrible person. I wonder if this could lead to him helping the team at a critical moment? And then Hive desolves him because as establish you can't change the future visions.
